The stats are the stats. I just think an incorrect conclusion to make is that all of those games were lost by Stafford alone. Look up each game, and break it down, that will probably be far from the actual truth.

But, that burden is Stafford's and Rams to bear. And I am glad they have it.
The answer has always been in the middle:

Stafford is an extremely talented, yet streaky player. The difference in him and the Rodgers class of QBs is that those guys aren't as streaky.

Hmm, where have I seen that before? :) I've been beating that drum for a while.

Stafford is also 8-16 in prime time games, including 2-2 this season.

We have to be prepared, play sound football on all 3 phases and with that we can win with Kyler and Colt against this years Bears.

We need to stay healthy and get healthy, the next 3 games decide if we are playoff bound, the next 5-6 if we have #1 seed and a bye.

We will see how we manage all of this. 1 Game at the time.

It's probably not that uncommon either

Ben Roethlisberger
Jimmy Garoppolo

I don't have a table for all QBs vs. teams 5 games over .500, but this table that I linked last week shows records vs. all winning teams (compiled before this season):

Code:
Player Total Wins Losses Ties %

Lamar Jackson 16 10 6 0 .625
Patrick Mahomes 16 10 6 0 .625
Tom Brady 121 74 47 0 .611
Jimmy Garoppolo 15 9 6 0 .600
Russell Wilson 59 32 27 0 .542
Marcus Mariota 25 12 13 0 .480
Aaron Rodgers 80 36 43 1 .456
Jared Goff 31 14 17 0 .451
Josh Allen 17 7 10 0 .411
Dak Prescott 33 13 20 0 .393
Matt Ryan 86 31 55 0 .360
Mitch Trubisky 23 8 15 0 .347
Kyler Murray 14 3 11 0 .333
Carson Wentz 31 10 21 0 .322
Baker Mayfield 20 6 14 0 .300
Deshaun Watson 26 7 19 0 .269
Drew Lock 8 2 6 0 .250
Derek Carr 59 14 45 0 .237
Sam Darnold 17 4 13 0 .235
Ted Bridgewater 18 4 14 0 .222
Kirk Cousins 42 7 35 0 .173
Justin Herbert 6 1 5 0 .166
Matt Stafford 75 8 67 0 .106
Daniel Jones 9 0 9 0 .000

It's seems clear that while many other factors are at play, Stafford contributes a great deal to this level of suck.

Yeah I feel like if the Cards can go 3-0 in upcoming games and get to 12-2 to have a great shot at the #1 seed.

Kyler in a league of his own

LOL. Not even a real metric.

Each throw that is graded at the top end of the scale (+1.0s, +1.5s, and +2.0s) has been classified as a big-time throw. Conversely, the bottom end of the scale is reserved for turnover-worthy throws (-1.0s, -1.5s, and -2.0s). Here’s what they mean.

I'd be fascinated to know what the sample sizes we're dealing with are.

But it doesn't show his performance, the defense, wrs, etc etc etc

Everyone wants stats with which you can make a simple black and white judgments. But as I have learned, stats never really work like that.

Again, that said, I am happy people are hanging this stat around Stafford and the Rams necks.

GB have the easiest remaining SOS. I'd say Philly is easier personally but either way it's not tough. Only thing this doesn't account for are division games which go beyond W-L records.

It looks like gb has the easiest..but this year…who the heck knows!

Said it before but its Kyler's poor rushing that has brought down his PFF and QBR grades.
Hard to give the MVP to a guy who isn’t going to pass for 4000 yards.

Not sure who else deserves it more.
I think Brady is going to get it just off sheer numbers. As long as he doesnt lose more than 2 games.

There seems to be a real push for Josh Allen, but he's not been better than Herbert this year to me.
