I am probably the biggest Kliff supporter on this board, but even I will be pissed at him if we lose this one. I don't believe that the Giants are good. Giants are hyped up on a 4 game winning streak but don't be fooled, they are still bad. 3 of the Giants 4 game win streak are Eagles, WFT and burrowless Bengals. We are better than these teams. I don't care that they shut down the Seahawks. Last year our 5 win squad pulled one on the Seahawks too. Pete Carroll and crew always have game or two a year where their offense disappears. Daniel Jones will cough up the ball and if he's out Colt McCoy has noodle arm.

Bounce back game.

A couple weeks ago we signed DT Daylon Mack to our practice squad. Only noteworthy because when Kyler was being recruiting to Texas A&M Mack was considered just as valuable a recruit. He's probably not very good but with our DL depth we might have to play him in the near future.

I don't have any reasonable explanations but I see us winning this important game. Don't ask me how.

I hope you're right, but it's hard to believe we'll win this game when their defense is playing lights out while our defense is playing at a pop warner level. I'm thinking it will be a 30-7 Giants victory with our only TD in the late 4th qtr. when the Giants are playing prevent. On the bright side, my predictions are usually wrong.

I'm not sure this is a great matchup for us offensively.

Their outside rush isn't great so they blitz quite a lot. So it's not detrimental to them to have their EDGE guys play contain against Kyler. But their interior D line is good, some big guys there too. Contain on the edge, pressure up the middle and blitz the B gaps is exactly what makes Kyler struggle.

Their DB's are pretty good too, especially Bradberry.

Plus the Giants just had the perfect warm up game against the Seahawks where they ran a very similar defensive game plan.

I'm not sure if the Giants and Cardinals switched uniforms after Week 8, but it kind of feels that way. The Cards are 1-4 since their Week 8 bye and they would be 0-5 if they hadn't beaten the Bills with a prayer throw. I'm not sure if they offended the Pope or something with their Hail Mary, but I'm starting to feel that way.

I think the Cardinals' biggest issue right now is that it seems like Kyler Murray is afraid to run, which has made their offense one-dimensional. Murray injured his shoulder in Week 10 and since then, he's averaged 20.3 rushing yards per game. That's a huge difference when you consider that he averaged 67.1 between Weeks 1 thru 9. Murray the dual-threat quarterback is nearly impossible to beat, but Murray the one-dimensional quarterback is very beatable.

I have no idea who's going to be starting at quarterback for the Giants, and I thought about making two picks for this game -- one for if Daniel Jones plays and one if he doesn't -- but then I decided that I don't care who starts. The Giants defense did such a good job of bottling up Russell Wilson that I'm 99% sure that they're going to be able to do the same thing to Kyler Murray.

The Cardinals have lost three straight games and are struggling on offense. The Giants, on the other hand, are playing outstanding defense. That battle will decide this game. I think the edge goes to the Giants defense. Daniel Jones should be back in this game for New York at quarterback and I think he will play well. Giants take it.

Pick: Giants 24, Cardinals 20

I did not like what I saw from that Giant defense last week. They were all over Russ and crew and all three levels, front, LB's and secondary played their tails off. What a difference when a team goes on the road, and play like they own the place. Can we do that coming east for another dreaded 1:00 start? I want so badly to say desperation gets it done, but I have zero trust in this coaching staff to adequately prepare for what is essentially our season.

I mean almost all of Kylers running plays are options, where he can decide to keep the ball and run or give it to the running back based on how the linebacker is playing. Teams are telling their linebackers to always cover Kyler now, so Kyler is running less. The "A" that you're talking about is Drake/Chase have guaranteed one less guy going after them when they run the ball. We are trying to hurt them with "A", but it's not enough because Chase/Drake arent ridiculously talented like Kyler. Just know that whatever our RBs numbers are now, they would be much worse with a different QB.

If teams are telling their linebackers to always cover Kyler now then why run options? There is no option. Run a designed QB run play, pull a guard out and have them run block Kyler. Or line your TE up in the slot and have them run block back inside and seal the edge so the LB can't get out to Kyler. Or have your tight ends run routes behind the linebackers for short passes.

Or 101 other things we could do other than try to run the same old plays that the defense has already adjusted for.

Fotu played last week, Lawrence is off IR, the just designated Philips to return from IR. Allen is back. Other than Peters the DL should be at full strength next Sunday.

The Cards are in real danger of getting out-coached again. They shutdown Wilson and I don’t see anything indicating Kingsbury has any new ideas.

Kingsberry has seen this defensive approach from Miami and New England already. Third time is a charm and my bet is that Kingsberry and company have it figured out. Also, New York really isn't a very good football team. My gut tells me that the Cardinals win this one comfortably.

I can just picture Murray pouting as he's responding to the question.
If you watch the video of the KM weekly press conferences, he does NOT respond to criticism well at ALL. His body language changes, he dismisses the question, often criticizes the person who’s asking the question. It’s rather childish.

that being said, the AZ media sucks. They ask him why he gets fired up on the sidelines, 2 weeks later ask him if he isn’t focused during practice. Pick a narrative and stick to it

This!!! BC, I've been screaming at KK to call more gashing type runs. A deliberate up the middle scamper once the receivers clear the LOS. I don't need it 10 times a game, just 3 or 4. That in addition to his outside options to throw or run. Where is this offensive ingenuity our coach had been lauded for?! The offense has gotten worse and worse each week and has been herky-jerky at best. No pop or continuity!
