LOL at people saying that Rondale Moore would be a key to this game. If he were doing well on vertical routes in practice, wouldn’t they start giving him some in games? Kirk is just the better option right now.

Also, I think this is gonna be a pretty quiet house. MNF game in Glendale will either have a lot of empty seats or a lot of seats filled with Rams fans. A lot of Arizonans (including this one) don’t want to fight traffic to the west side on a Monday afternoon. Maybe the new 202 has opened some of that up, but you have a west side stadium and an east side fan base.

Aaron Donald also detailed what went wrong in their first matchup and how to stop Murray.

"We just ain’t play good, but we know what to expect,” Donald said. “We know what we got to do to try to bottle him {Kyler Murray} up — not let him get out the pocket and extend plays. So we do that, we’ll be fine. We just got to find ways to get after him, make him uncomfortable, and get some hits on him this time. We let him get out of the pocket multiple times and extend plays with his feet. And then was able to get out the pocket, see things, throw it downfield, and make some plays with his arm. So, you let any quarterback do that, they are going to have a good day. So definitely the type of talent he is, we can’t allow that.”

Easier said then done, but it sounds like they are going to try and rip SF’s game plan from when we played them the first time. Nick Bosa and company really tried to keep Murray from getting to the edges.

I would imagine they are also going to try and follow the game plan of GB and Carolina offensively (quick passes, emphasizing the run game)

This is a weak take. Are you saying that the Red Sea isn’t going to show up to a prime time game, when we are the #1 team in the country, when we’ve sold out every single game since opening the stadium?

You will be wrong about the crowd.

To be fair the Red Sea did not show up for Green Bay.

I don’t understand why Cards don’t use Rondale Moore more like Steve Smith than Tayvon Austin.

Chase Edmonds will be a game-time decision for Cardinals Monday

The Cardinals designated running back Chase Edmonds for return from injured reserve this week and they’ll wait until Monday to decide if he’ll be back in the lineup against the Rams or not.

Edmonds has missed three games with an ankle injury and head coach Kliff Kingsbury said on Saturday that Edmonds will be a game-time decision. James Conner has been the lead back in Edmonds’ absence.

Defensive lineman Zach Kerr (ribs) has been ruled out and left guard Justin Pugh (calf) is set to be a game-time call as well after being listed as questionable.

Rams offensive lineman Brian Allen (knee) has been ruled out while cornerback Donte Deayon (illness) and linebacker Terrell Lewis (back) are listed as questionable. The Rams also placed running back Darrell Henderson on the COVID-19 reserve list Saturday.

It isn't a preseason game.

We’ll see. I honestly hope I’m wrong. I was personally offered free tickets to this game and passed because it feels awful driving down the 10 anytime between 5 and 6 and when I went to the Texans game the parking situation was much worse with the new online parking passes. Not worth my time.

Extra LOL at some fake sellout streak.

Heh laughing at people in Phoenix complaining about traffic.

Your worst traffic is standard SoCal Saturday afternoon traffic.

I'm always excited to drive in Phoenix because traffic there is almost nonexistent.

Fair enough. We went to see Rams-Cards at the collesium during the Wilkes season and getting there from Long Beach was a catastrophe.

1000%.

Hell, I just like hopping in my car and taking 30-45 minute drives listening to sports radio when I’m home just because I can as opposed to LA.

Worse catastrophe than that game? That was horrific. The beginning of the end for Wilkes imo.

this is the truth

another problem i see (and an example): coming north on the 101, the message boards say, for example, Gray lot exit Indian School. Great. Easy exit off Indian School and the left on 91st.

the problem: the lights on 91st are timed where it is just as long E/W as it is N/S -- when 99% of the traffic is trying to get North to the stadium (and following instructions). Results in a gigantic backup on 91st. 45 mins from 91st and Indian School up to the stadium.
