Is there a sporting event in a stadium anywhere in the world that doesn't have nightmare traffic?
Both Sun Devil Stadium, Chase Field, and the Suns Arena are in downtown areas with easy access to light rail. They're easy to get to for day games, night games, weekends, week nights, whenever.

I've easily gotten into games at the old Oakland Coliseum to watch the As, and I got into and out of AT&T Park for a weekend game to watch the Giants. Got into and out of Candelstick Park easily.

I don't even have a problem with hitting up State Farm Stadium on a Sunday. I don't mind the drive.

The problem is that the Big Toaster is located out in the middle of Exurbia with only one freeway in or out, and that freeway happens to be loaded with, like, 20% of the Valley's population + shipping transportation from PHX to CA at rush hour.

I don't mind fighting an hour of traffic to get to a Cards game. I do mind fighting 2-2.5 hours worth of traffic to get there. Check google maps from Gilbert to SFS at 5 PM.

Sounds pretty bad. Are there any plans to set up some light rail to Glendale? Or add additional freeways (if that's even possible)?

this is basically the Coyotes problem (amongst others)
Yeah. The Coyotes completely screwed themselves by taking a West Side arena and trying to convince an East Side fanbase to show up there. IMO, there are plenty of people on the west side to support weekday hockey games, but I don't know how well the Coyotes worked to develop a fan base out there (I hardly ever see Coyote marketing period, tbh, but I live on the east side).

The Rams will fight hard tonight, but it's looking tough for us. Our HOF CB, starting RT, and starting TE are out on the COVID list. Our starting Center has a twisted ankle and is out. It would be hard to win even at full strength, but it's looking especially tough now.

Tough crowd!

I’m just being a wise-ass.

I think this will be a tough game. We gotta prove we can win the high pressure games under the lights before I get super confident about this team. Still got the nasty taste of the GB game in my mouth.

Let’s wash that ish out tonight Cards!

"It's why they play the game"

Here's a more appropriate cliche....

Don't feel good about this game.

Kirk and Moore are disappearing in the offense. DHop is not 100% so Ramsey has advantage. No chase Edmonds. Rams just need to stop Conner and Kyler and they have talent to do it.

On defense, Stafford missed a couple of throws in last game though they moved the ball that ended up being a huge difference. Run defense is a real concern since that Rams win.

Just feel Rams are desperate and they need this win otherwise they can kiss the season good bye with road playoffs games. Oh, they beat Cardinals last year when everything was on the line..
This feels mostly on the money right?

Cardinals have issues and that is OK as they have four games to figure it out. They just need to play 4 playoff games now instead of 3.

Lol. Stadium 2/3 empty in the lower bowl at the 2 minute warning and the stadium echoing with calls of “Coop!”

This is the time of year when Kliffy and Kyler tend to fold up… so tonight really isn’t a surprise. We have one of the easiest remaining schedules. Let’s see if Kliffy and Kyler can close the deal and win the west. I have my doubts…

Are you sure about that, bro?

We could have two division-winners in out last four games.
