You ar right. Kittle was coming off IR that week not doubtful.

"Tight end George Kittle is not listed on the injury report because he is still on injured reserve. The 49ers are expected to activate him to the active roster on Friday so he will be eligible to play in Saturday’s game.

Shanahan said Kittle is one of the team’s freshest players after being out since Nov. 1 due to a broken bone in his foot. Kittle is likely to have a reduced workload in his return to action."

any update on Maxx? Hes listed as questionable on my fantasy team with a shoulder, Daniels is on the Covid list so Harris would be the TE if Maxx can't go.

As Kyler progresses I'm hoping his vision goes from deep to short on these scramble plays. Kirk's got enough room to either get a big gain or a TD.

yep that's where I am. Kyler told us this in camp I don't want to HAVE to run I want to be able to get it done in the pocket etc.

he's improved in the pocket to me the big jump this year is throwing on the run outside the pocket or when he steps up. The comments from the 49ers DC that's true this year, not true the last 2 years with exceptions, like the Hail Murray, he wasn't that good thowing on the run and mostly only to his left, this year he's been really good going to his right on the run.

The less hits he takes the better

Murray is the highest rated QB in the NFL from the pocket.

And I do agree, he has improved substantially on the run.

Just don’t want a let down against the 49ers, like the Rams had after their win vs Tampa Bay. The Rams didn’t look sharp and maybe thought they were gonna bully the Cards once again, and just needed to roll the football out there. The Cards need to prove they are legit and not fall into old / bad habits after getting good press.

We could actually see Rondale get a few carries at RB if both Chase and Eno are out?

Yea I think Moore would get lots of touches. Maybe not a bunch of carries, but quite a few screens/swing passes as an extension of the run game.

Risky, but you'd rather Chase be healthy for that Browns game. I still think he probably plays though.

However, if Chase is out and Rondale factors in at RB. That means one man might be active to help with WR duties..

Cardinals on pace for all-time yardage record, with help from a 17th game​

The Arizona Cardinals aren’t just the NFL’s only undefeated team. They’re also tops in the league in yards gained. And they may end up gaining more yards this season than any other team in NFL history.

Through four games this season, the Cardinals have gained 1,762 total yards on offense. That’s 440.5 yards a game, the best mark in the league in the 2021 season.

And over a 17-game season, that would equate to 7,489 yards, which would break the all-time NFL record for yards gained. The current record is 7,474 yards, set by the Saints in 2011.

The Saints, of course, did that in a 16-game season. Many of the offensive records set in 16-game seasons will likely be broken this year or within the next few years. But the Cardinals are the only team on pace to break one of the most significant offensive records, total yards gained.

QB Jimmy Garoppolo (calf) is out, so Trey Lance will make his first NFL start in Arizona. TE George Kittle (calf) is doubtful and his absence won’t make Lance’s task any easier. DE Samson Ebukam (hamstring) and DT Javon Kinlaw (knee) are listed as questionable.


Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury called RB Chase Edmonds (shoulder) a game-time decision on Friday. He’s listed as questionable along with T Kelvin Beachum (ribs), RB Eno Benjamin (hamstring), CB Antonio Hamilton (ankle), TE Maxx Williams (shoulder), and CB Marco Wilson (ribs). CB Byron Murphy (ribs) has been ruled out.

It’s Baker’s left shoulder and they’ll be ready coming off a loss to the Chargers. I’d happily take 2-1 over the next three.
