It's funny because not only does he prove it by suddenly "liking" the Cardinals , but he also proves it by not "liking" the Suns now.

I don't think he said that he "doesn't like" the Suns. He said that they are uninspiring and that he doesn't get mad when they lose.

I feel the same way about this team. Sarver/Kerr have created a pretty mediocre team without many positives to look forward to. It's not that I don't like the Suns, I am just not as excited to watch them as in years past, and they don't seem as excited to play.

"suddenly liking the Cardinals". That's almost as funny as ridiculous as everything else you post unless going to games for 20 years and living and dying with them for that long means "suddenly".

And it's not a matter of not "liking" the Suns right now... they just do nothing to make me care about them.

You jumped on the Cards' bandwagon when they moved to Phoenix. Fair-Weather :p

Definition of a Fair-weather fan. No other way to put it, none.

Dude, Cheese's been around since the old board. He's been going crazy rooting for the Suns for years- even when we were a lottery team. You signed up last year. Please don't insult those of us who've been around for years by calling any of us fair-weather fans. Cheese is probably one of the biggest pessimists (or realist, perhaps) on this board, but a fair-weather fan he is not.

I wouldn't say he's been "rooting" for the Suns, but he's definitely talked about them for years. ;)

The Cardinals should have stayed put in St. Louis, Arizona doesn't even have Cardinals. Shouldn't an Arizona football team be named the Buzzards or tumble weeds or something lol?

okay Newbie. You know all.

the idea that me, a Card fan who has bled red even though they've been an absolute horror show for 18 of 20 years, being a fair-weather fan is just about the dumbest thing I've ever seen someone say. No other way to put it, none.

wake me when Sarver sells this team so I can enjoy watching them again.

You're a fair-weather fan.

Dude guess what, a post count doesn't show how big of a fan you are of anything. Before this I was on another board, and still post there. Maybe consider that some other Suns fans "post" in another way with their voice? Maybe every time I talk about the Suns to other Suns fans in real life can be considered a post for every 2-3 sentences I make? I'd have a billion posts you know.

You're a fair-weather fan.

to quote Chevy Chase, my favorite SNL anchor: Jane, you ignorant ****! just kidding.

seriously, call me whatever you want... the Cards are one day from Nirvana and this fair-weather fan is going to be there to witness it (just as I've been there to witness the horror for the last 20 years). If you think the above insults me in any way shape or form... well, any other weekend you might be right... but hell, man, the Cards are going to the Super Bowl. You could kick me in the nuts right now and I'd still have a smile on my face from the ridiculousness that's occurring.

hope you all have a good day! I gotta go prepare for the tailgate of all tailgates!

SUPER BEARD/BACK TO THE SUPER BOWL!!!!!!!!!!

Take it from a life long Saints fan and don't get so cocky. NFC championship in 2006 still hurts.

Let's not take this loss too seriously.

Detroit lost to OKC.
Atlanta lost to GS.
San Antonio got a beat down from Philly.
Orlando beat the Lakers.

It happens, folks.

Cardinals are native to the state. You know there are mountains here right?

Andrew have you ever in your life been to Arizona? Just wondering because this thread qualifies as one of the stupidest posts I have read.

Cardinals are more abundant in St. Louis than Arizona, fact.

St. Louis Cardinals (NFL) was named after the baseball team with the same name.

How bout Mike Fratello for head coach, dude knows what he is doing coached dominique wilkins and Pau Gasol (weaknesses anyone?). Plus all those years of commentating can't be worse than Porter.

The Chicago Cardinals named themselves after the St. Louis Cardinals?

The Cardinals are the oldest professional American football club in the United States.[2][3][4] This should not be confused with the longest original city team (the Green Bay Packers) because the team known now as the Arizona Cardinals was originally formed in 1898 as the Morgan Athletic Club in Chicago. The club was then called the Racine Normals since they were originally located in Normal Park on Chicago's Racine Avenue (not Racine, Wisconsin, as mistaken in the notes from an early APFA meeting). They then changed their name to the Racine Cardinals after they started wearing dark reddish uniforms, inherited from the collegiate Chicago Maroons.

The Cardinals moved to St. Louis, Missouri in 1960 becoming the St. Louis Cardinals, often called "The Football Cardinals" or the "The Big Red" in order to distinguish them from the baseball team, and also were called "The Cardiac Cards" during some brushes with success in the 1970s.

His last 2 coaching stops were a disaster. The players couldn't relate to him and he lost his last 2 teams and they tuned him out. He is one of those high knowledge guys who isn't a good coach IMO.
