With a healthy David Johnson, #2 WR production doesn't matter nearly as much. Last year the Cardinals got minimal production from that position and losing Jaron and John Brown doesn't hurt too much especially at the salary JB was paid.

I'm hopeful that Butler can step up, but I expect that the pecky order will be Fitz/Kirk/JJ.

My money is on the combo of Fitz/Butler/Kirk

As good a career as Fitz has had, having him as a #1 option at WR is key to a pretty low-T offense.

Right. And it's less important that we have high #2 WR production than that we need at least the THREAT of production from that position. As it is, the box will just be stacked every single conceivable running down, because there isn't even the hint of a whiff of a thought of a whisper of a threat of a passing game right now.

I'm not keen on the Cardinals WR options, but something might shake out from the Kirk/Butler/Williams combo. If not, next offseason will be all about finding weapons for Rosen and improving the OL.

Kirk was a great pick for the future, in my opinion, but yeah, we're going to need a more legitimate top outside threat for him. I'm worried about relying on 2-3 really young guys for the years we have Rosen on the cheap, once Fitz is gone. I can dream about Odell Beckham... but I know why others might not like him.

I'm still in the camp that I don't think there's a lot to improve at OL. I'd like to get better at center, but we made a move at the position that will preclude us from drafting at the top at the position. Maybe a guy to replace Iupati. Maybe if Humphries either flops or prices himself outside of what we can do.

I'm salivating at 2019.

I've always been a big WR guy, but that might be a function of growing up a Cardinals fan. With that said, I'm starting to more and more buy into the notion that receivers shouldn't be drafted high and that you can find WRs later on in the draft.

I think Kirk's ceiling is Doug Baldwin, who has a similar kind of build.

The OL will need improvements soon, but drafting Cole this year will help down the road. There are a few young prospects (Boehm and Cole) on the interior, and the team has a really solid young swing tackle (Wetzel) in case of injury. Iupati, Smith, and maybe Shipley will need replacements soon. Hopefully Pugh will work out, and if he doesn't, the team will need another guard. I really hope the OL gels this year, but I won't hold my breath.

BA seems to like the Butler signing:

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...s-loves-cardinals-addition-of-wr-brice-butler

"I love the Brice Butler pickup," Arians said recently, via the Arizona Republic's Bob McManaman. "He's a tall deep threat. He does what Michael Floyd did -- a big, tall guy that can take the top off (of a defense). ... I don't know why he didn't get more time last year with Dallas, but the fans out here are going to love this kid.

"He could be the No. 2 guy behind Larry."
