He hasn't had more than 16 receptions in a year since 2014. So...

Also, he doesn't play special teams.

:championship:

First thing I saw too. Can't get too hyped up for a guy that averages a catch a game.

Adds a much-needed big fella who supposedly can catch to our WR room.

I think people here are going to be shocked at what a solid addition this guy is going to be. I cannot stand Cowboy loving Skip Bayless but he made comments many a times how Butler was his guy

Gambo also said Cards like him better than JJ Nelson? I mean nButler has less yards in 5 seasons than JJ Nelson has in 2. I wonder if Gambo even has any sources.

I wonder how much he signed for, that is the big question. Had to be less than $5M a year because that is what Jordan Matthews was asking for.

Brice Butler is a guy you pick up for your fantasy team late Saturday night when you realize your main WR has a bye week..

But... here's to hoping he'll contribute. I can hear it now... "Bradford to Brice... TD!" :)

Um, did you watch Nelson last year? He is a one trick pony, deep fly routes is all he is good for.

I’m not very familiar with butler, but he can only catch what is thrown his way.

Looks the part but rarely plays the part! I’ve seen him here in Dallas & don’t think he’s even as good as Jaron Brown. He will have 1 game game where he flashes then disappears for the other 15.

Don’t get your hopes up fellas!

Man seriously nfl opposing corners are going to be focus on fitz none of the others are going to threaten....

I am almost hoping cards draft Ridley from bama would atleast give teams something else to think about.

We had how much production from guys no longer here? JMO most are rating guys based off of past production not last year I liked the Browns but they didn't do much. This guy may not be the answer but they weren't either

Best place for Butler to get a significant chance at game time reps. No surprise that the roster is churning. Good signing for SK and SW.

I REALLY like Goedert. Think Zach Ertz / Greg Olsen, but not as polished blocking in the run game.
thats why I like Schultz and Smythe... both really big dudes, solid blockers... and 10" hands for snatching balls out of the air.
it is way past time we had a complete TE in arizona.... neither of these guys is NFL fast... but both are in the 4.7 range so they aint slow... both are right about 6'5" and 250

Goedert is similar but does not block as well...awesome red zone target but he often wears a LB in his back pocket.

out of the three I think Shultz is probably the guy I would like to have the most
