Man, I was really looking forward to Dudley being in the 3 point contest. I know Frye is there, but Dudley is a better 3 point shooter, imho. Why Frye over Dudley?

I think Dudley would have been the better choice in the three point contest because when he has time to set up with an open three he is deadly. I'm not opposed to Frye but when he has time to think about a three point shot he usually misses.

Also, Frye can't shoot worth a damn unless he's on the Suns' home floor. 49% from the field, 49% from three, 85% from the line at home; 42%, 38%, 66% on the road.

Personally I think Dudley would have been a disaster. He is a "set your feet first" 3 points shooter. When he is on the run or moving he doesn't shoot it well. Frye is much the same way but he does have a quick release. Frye probably would have done better. Aside from Barbosa, Nash and JRich, I don't think anybody else on this roster would stand a chance.

They always put Nash in the skills contest. Arguably no one in the NBA has hit more big threes this year in pressure situations. No way you can say Nash wouldn't be as good, if not better than Frye. I personally think Dudley has hit more pressure threes than Frye, imho.

personally think Nash would tear it up from watching some of his practices when he is on it seems he never misses

Dudley is too slow on his release to make it all the way around with any sort of accuracy.

From what I remember, Nash did not even advance from the first round couple years ago.

Speaking of that slow release....is Matt Leinart ready to dominate?:)

I believe that he will be in position for us not to lose. He is in a tough position because if he lose, it will be on him, and it we win, it won't.

I think Matt will be OK. That said, I can see the Cards make a move for a free agent veteran in the off season.
