Well, he is a pretty good actor and was a humorous rapper.

I especially liked when he said "Parents just dont understand" and then hit that three pointer.

I have no idea what this thread has turned into, I didn't read it all...but as far as the title of the thread....

The Lakers can kiss my white ARSE! We would have won it without them...

Call it what you like. I decided to become a Lakers fan during a downturn in team history (ie the few times in team history when they werent winning titles) and havent looked back since. After going to the Suns/Lakers game last week, I know in my heart of hearts that I made the right decision after seeing all your bandwagon, uneducated fans.

So am I.

What's the point?
I guess I'm just a blatant localist and view what you do as cherry picking what teams you follow.
It's no big, but I will enjoy ARIZONA successes and bemoan ARIZONA failures because I'm an ARIZONAN.
It's weird that we're on the same side at the Cardinals games, then on opposite sides at a Suns/Lakers game (if I could afford to go).

I see that, and I respect that as well. I'm not a localist but understand the mindset.

I know you weren't necesairly talking to me, but I grew up in Arizona as well. However, when I started following pro sports, the only pro team was the Suns. My dad however is a huge Laker fan, and he made sure I was as well.

I was already a Browns fan (no idea why, other then my brother was a Steeler fan, and the Kardiac Kids were awesome) and a Dodger fan (because they used to show a lot of their games there) before the Cardinals moved into town or the Diamondbacks started up. So, I don't think it is out of the range of possibility that people could be from that area, and not really follow the teams. Of course, I also have not lived in Arizona for 15 years now.

A friend of mine, when once discussing his unhappy marriage, said, "You can't choose who you love." I think it's the same with being a fan. Anyone who can remember when or why they "decided" to become a fan of Team X is a little suspect in my book.

The Suns upset the Lakers in 1990.

Thanks for correcting me, Eric. How could I have forgotten that!

What a ******* comment. There are bandwagon fans in every city. There are uneducated fans in every city. A lot of people don't love basketball enough to tune in or go watch bad basketball, and I can't blame them. I, on the other hand, am a die hard basketball fan. I'll stick with this team through thick and thin. Call me a bandwagon fan if you want, but it only makes you look stupid to make that sort of assertion. Seriously, if that is your "analysis", then the Suns are not losing much by you going to the Lakers. I visit L.A. nearly every year to see family. L.A. has no bandwagon fans? Haha, yeah freakin' right.

Anyway, I hope we'll rest Nash for the game against the Lakers to make sure that we meet in the first round! :)

I really don't care who we play in the first round. However, we should rest Nash for the sake of resting Nash. It'd be nice to give him a game off, and play him 20 minutes in the other games.

Grew up in LA, attended MANY Laker basketball games at the Forum and even my fair share of Clipper Games. Even Saw Micheal play the Lakers during the 91 Season....

But while i enjoyed my little league baseball and basketball teams, I didnt really understand professional basketball (and pro sports in general) and was more there for the popcorn and soda

I moved to Phoenix when i was 12 and my interest in sports started to become more prenounced as I started to read my dad Street and Smiths Basketball catalogs....and then the Barkely year (93) happened. I watched the Dream Team from beginning to end and got caught up in moving to a new city and Sir Charles engufing the state with his personality. I have been a hopeless devotee ever since.

After that the Cardinals, DBacks and Wildcats all became part of my being as i GREW up in the Tempe - Scottsdale area. I might have been born in SoCal, but i am a rare breed in that i consider myself a Phonecian, as the city literally grew up with me

But my devotion to professional sports started and began with the Suns

The Lakers are the only dynasty type team (Yankees, Cowboys, Duke, etc) that i dont hate with a passion because they represent the west coast, but like Chandler Mike says " They can kiss my white arse..."

I became a Cardinals fan during their down years...wait a minute that has been every season except one. The Suns games are fun to attend because you know they will make the post season and bring excitement to this community. Losing is not fun to experience or watch. Everyone wants to win and watch a winner. Winning brings fans, that is just the nature of the game.

How the heck do I get my mugshot on this board. Blade is all that I have. On second thought, why the heck would I want a picture of my mug on this site? how about this one...or poor Katelyn.

Not sorry because I am not here to win a spelling bee or a grammar contest. This is not my job, nor do I give a hoot.

Just saying. Might as well not post if you can't make yourself understood, whether it's your job or not.

Hey guys, if Kings wins tonight and Lakers loses tomorrow, does this mean that Kings owns the tie-breaker and we end up playing them instead of Lakers?
