In a lot of ways, this series will determine the fate of the DBacks season. Sweep or win 3 out of 4 and there's a real chance to steal the division from the Dodgers in September. Split the series and there is still an outside chance for the division. Lose 3 of 4 or get swept and the division chances are near nil and the DBacks will need to try and hold on to a WC slot in September. The team needs to "get its mind right" after the series loss to the Mets. Time for some solid pitching and an explosive offense this weekend. Go DBAcks!

I think it's more about getting some players healthy. We are missing a lot of offense.

This is a big series and we need to play well to let the dodgers know we're nipping at their heels. Plus I hate the dodgers so we kick it kick their butts.

The Arizona Diamondbacks have sold nearly 170,000 tickets for their 4-game series against the Dodgers with anticipated sellouts Friday and Saturday at Chase Field. The D-backs trail the Dodgers by 4 games in the NL West.
