Weird...because before Bynum got injured...the Lakers were in first place in the west....interesting. ;)

ok, but he did have gasol.....so....makes him first place and the mvp. I dont know what we're argueing here anymore. Not sure if you are stating the obvious for a reason or for fun.

Matt Money Smith used that term alot last year. He has a local sports show here in SoCal.

Excellent point. Kobe's gonna have to pass the torch eventually. We just need to find out who it will be. 2 years ago, Wade was the flavor of the month, this year its CP3...we'll just wait and see. I personally think its gonna be Lebron.

Fortunately he did, i don't see why that changes anything. If Magic didn't have Kareem, if cp3 didnt have West, if Suns didnt have Marion.

imo...the race between Kobe an dPaul was so close that it came down to the last game they played together (the last week of the regular season) and also end of season record. Fortunatly, KB24 won both of those. I'm positive if the Nooch were to have #1 seed, Cp3 would be the MVP right now. Its...

1st half of the season - KG #1 , Kobe # 2 2nd half of the season - Cp3 #1, Kobe # 2 At the end, Kobe has been the most consistant player this year....and end up having the best record in the west.

He is definately a great player now. But its seems like everyone forgot that the Lakers have thier very own great player. Home Court advantage will also play a great deal in the series.

I dunno...this quote seemed to start it: YouJustGotSUNSD: He didnt win it this year simply because he did whine and complain all offseason about the city he was playing in, on top of publicly dissing his teammates and demanding a trade. Oh wait, that was the actual MVP winner...

Why are you guys trying to scare us with the Hornets? Yes, they are doing good...but we arnt doing that bad ourselves. lol. But thanks for the concern anyways. Much appreciated.

Dont get me wrong. Spurs are definately easier then the Hornets. But its 2-0...lets be realistic here. We're playing the Hornets. Also...Lakers will definately be a better match up then spurs are. Just like the Hornets, the Lakeshow is young and atheltic aswell. Get ready for a great series!

The Lakers starting 5 was changing so constantly that even us Lakers fans don't know what the real starting 5 is. As for the Hornets, you can easily name all 5 within 8 seconds. For the Lakers its like...Kobe, Fisher, Odom...umm Gasol...umm wait Kwame...no no Turiaf...wait Walton...no no...

I agree. I hope they see each other so Kobe can show Chris Paul why his team is #1 in the west. Just like he showed him in thier last meeting.

Dont forget that fact that NO was practically healthy all season with the same starting 5.

Utah Jaz vs L.A. Lakers series

That second foul on Gasol was a wierd one too. His hands were straight up and Boozer used it as a ladder lol.

Vic the Brick with his "Suns" Poncho lol

By your analogy, Nash didnt deserve the MVP since there were other teams that past the Suns up.

Lebron = Kobe the past two years in terms of MVP votes. Both had AWESOME stats but couldnt get thier team to have a solid record. Simple as that.
