Anybody Feeling Like Me Out There????

Battered Wife Syndrome Cardiac - As mentioned before that description is so perfect for many old time Card fans (one in particular comes to my mind). This is not to understate the seriousness of this syndrome either, it just goes to point out, whether right or wrong, how darn serious some...

    Unsung Heroes

I've been drawn to Sendlein's play over the past few weeks, the guy is playing the center position extremely well and is getting little credit. He quietly came in early last year, replaced Johnson, and is performing at a Pro Bowl level. Very underrated.

Love the win but STUPID STUPID STUPID

The reason we didn't run... Add these together: #1 - Coach is terrified that one of our backs will fumble the football, especially in this particular situation. This situation referring to the defense that's expecting the run, stuffs the back at the LOS, holds the running back up, and strips...

    Alan Branch A+++

I was blown away at the speed he showed in catching Eli, not that Eli is quick but a man of Branch's, err Trunk's physique usually doesn't move that fast.

    Antrelle Rolle in the Wildcat...

LOVED the call I'm confused by those who didn't like the call:shrug: Play calling is a game of chess, we outsmarted the defense and simply didn't execute. Excellent call, poor execution.

Admins have offered to work with us regarding the ads

Is the ad in the first post supposed to completely cover the text of the post itself??? For example, I can only read the first paragraph of your post...not sure if this is happening to everyone???

    Fortuitous Bounces and Whiz's Calls

You make your own luck As many have pointed out, the jags reminded me of the Cards of old. Lack of fan support, a coach on the hot seat, players (rookie tackles, free agent wide receiver, coach/qb controversy), and of course bad breaks. Chicken or the egg...

    Little side project (Cards boat)

Awesome boat! Did you catch any fish that day? Looks like fun, you, the wife, and the dog!

Jurecki had 1 of most interesting facts ever

I'll be the first to admit I didn't think Kurt could ever make it through 16 games; proved me wrong and I'm darn glad he did!

    Live from Scottsdale Arizona!

Need to change my location, moved outside of Austin, TX two months ago. Coming from IL you'll appreciate the fact I missed the green, fishing, hunting, etc. AZ was awesome but I couldn't stand the fact it took me two hours to get into the wild (not to mention the fact I've not drawn out for an...

    My apologies to the board

Don't feel too bad, anyone whose been a member of this board for more than a couple of years has done it as well. Now go start a new thread on politics, religion, health care reform, etc.!:D

    Madden Curse: 2009 Edition

The brickish font and red color you insist on posting in is giving me a headache; sorry I feel like you're yelling everytime I read your post. Can we change your name to Sam Kinison?

    Play action

Maybe I'm mistaken but I seem to recall the announcers during one of our recent preseason games throw out Kurt's QB rating on play action passes last year; it was freaking off the charts. Does anybody remember exactly what they said?

I really can't stand Brett Favre

Very valid point, I understand where you're coming when referring to the competitive nature of his love of the game; missed that before. When you state, "Selfish, so what?" I find selfishness one of the more despicable human vices, he seems to be exhibiting it in spades.

    Cards Announce Captians

It may be a sign of nothing in reference to the front office but one may infer an indication of what the locker room thinks; I do know this he USED to be a captain, he's not now. And, if it were so close or a point of contention why not 3 on offense??? Q is one of my all time favorites so...

    Live from Scottsdale Arizona!

Good for you! I moved from So. Ill out west many years ago and won't go back. Lived in Scottsdale for (not too far from where you're staying) 7 years, got tired of desert and had to move but still love AZ. Lots to do in that area, if you're in the mood for great pizza and pasta head west on...

I really can't stand Brett Favre

You're still not acknowledging the fact that he LOVES playing for a NFC North team, one of Green Bay's biggest (if not the biggest) rival. Enough with the love the game garbage, Brett is trying to stick it to Green Bay, that's obvious. If his only desire was to play the game he LOVES so...

I don't see myself watching it either, devastating.

Im Sorry, But Lance Long Sucks

Agree with Gee on this one; with the man crush on this guy in training camp I expected more during pre-season. Positives - Decent hands, quick, elusive in space. Negatives - As the games got more important (in terms of his ability to make the team) his pass catching got worse. Muffed a...

Just found this after all these years. Pretty freaking neat!

Kurt may well falter due to hip issues but the fact he took us to the Super Bowl alleviates any comparisons in my book; the big difference being with Neil we looked to be going into the playoffs and performing well while Kurt got us there and eventually to the big game.

Just found this after all these years. Pretty freaking neat!

Shane you inspired me to post a pic of a poster I have had for many years, autographed by Jim Hart in 1986; also autographed by Bill O'Brien a retired NFL referee. Sorry for the glass reflection.
