    A Rams' Fan's View

Tried to sign up on a Rams message board.... Without ever posting a single message, I log in to see this: I may have to try again with a different account, some of their comments are WAY out in left field. How about this one...

The 3-0 Rams are coming in this weekend.

Week 3 Snap Counts and a few thoughts

Meh. In a blow-out win... I'd rather have my second string guys getting lots of snaps to rest/protect my starters. It's only been the one game thus far, so I doubt it'll be a trend. Think of it more as an NFLPA sanctioned live practice for him. Go Cards!!!

    Q & Fitz...

Cards wanted to redo Anquan's contract before beginning work on a long term deal for Fitz. Q and his agent decided they would wait until after Larry's deal was done. Once Larry was extended, Q came back wanted more as he saw himself (probably rightly so) as the locker-room leader, not Larry...

Week 3 Snap Counts and a few thoughts

Coaching staff has been raving about Minter all off-season. They seem to be backing up their comments by playing him 80% of D-snaps every week. I figured it was mostly smoke, but it appears I was wrong. I think Gunter at 80% yesterday has to be the surprise of the week. Go Cards!!!

    Week 3 Heroes and Goats

Haven't seen it mentioned yet, but I might consider giving a Goat to BA for his clock management. Yea, I know the game was just about over, but at the end of the half, we didn't leave enough time to stop the clock and kick a FG. I love the aggressive attitude to have one more shot at a TD...

Week 3 Snap Counts and a few thoughts

Thanks Chopper. I've been waiting for Football Outsiders to post their snap-counts. Week 3 still isn't up. I think you picked up on just about everything I was going to stay. We did pull Def starters in the 4th quarter, which explains drop in snaps for Calais and Frostee. The drop...

NFL morning after: The Cardinals are for real

This is true for me as well, and I left Arizona following the '92 season. I can probably count on one hand the number of Cardinal fans I've met over that time. Go Cards!!!

    BA Halftime message

If it's in here on another thread, I'm sorry for duplicating; but, I thought this was awesome. I know most of you were at the game and didn't see the broadcast, but they asked BA what he told the team at half time. BA: If I see anyone letting up in the second half, I'll have you replaced...

    I love my team but...

I couldn't tell from the video what set him off. I take it someone suggested he was best QB in the league?

Offensive line grades after two games

BA seemed to imply that Watford allowed Carson to get hit too frequently. I'm really curious to see who starts at RT against SanFran. I think it's as close to 50/50 as it gets. Go Cards!!!

    Power rankings?

That is a pretty good site. They have us and Seattle as tied at 5. I think both Denver and Dallas are going to drop a bit as the season wears on, though Dallas can climb back into it once they get their Romo and their wideout back. Seems weird having us up that high, but not sure who below...

Dear Lord, do you have no concept of hubris and it's roll in the great tragedy's? :stick: Please take this poll down. Go Cards!!!

    Surreal...

Funny. I spend most of our games pacing in front of the TV. (I think I'll wear my fit-bit for this weeks game just to see how many steps I actually take.) This bears game was one of the few where I actually kicked back on the sofa, put my feet up, and just enjoyed the game (in the 4th...

On Larry's TD against the Bears...

The Chi boards were going crazy over the Rolle love-fest he was having with some of our players. And I hadn't thought about it, but you're right... I'm not sure Antrel could start on our current roster. (Antron would be a beast though). Go Cards!!!

    Cutler injury

I was stunned we didn't get a flag on that play. Definitely a helmet-to-helmet hit. He'll get fined for it this week. Looked like a shoulder injury to me. Usually you'll see a player grab their hamstring when they pull it. Made me think that he just quit on the game at that point too...
