    Gabbert

Lets see: he gets 3 completions of 25 or more yards ... "more than the Jaguars have allowed in any game this season" he throws for 2 TDs... "he joined Phillip Rivers as the only other QB to throw multiple TDs against them" he avoids numerous sacks (which with any other QB on our roster would...

Blaine Gabbert: Officially handed the keys to the car (dinals)

When our O line crumbles there is no 'sec or 2 more'. With any luck, there is 1/2 second. And many of his scrambles I watched he moved with a defenders hand already touching him. Any other QB we have, the Jags would have had about 10 sacks in that game. But, yeah, Gabbert just panics and runs...

    Gabbert

Do you ever watch them actually play, or do you just read pages of stats ?

    Gabbert

well the Jags were dreaming SuperBowl with Bortles ... GABBERT > (by a lot) than Bortles...

    Gabbert

Yes. And then he led us down the field and won. Something no other QB we have on the roster has accomplished this year.

    Blaine Gabbert..... question answered

    Gabbert

Which is exactly why BA must go. Win the next 5 and BA still must go, because the wins will be ALL Gabbert and very little BA.

    Gabbert

That is insane, just flat out insane... words (and even thoughts) fail me that someone could say that. Is AZFaninMN Drews wife ? What else could explain that ?

    Gabbert

Tripe. He watched the coverages line up and went with the 2cd or 3rd receiver within a couple of seconds instead of waiting 3-4 seconds for the primary to develope deep on BAs 'biscuit' plays, consequently, we would get 12-15 yards and a first down instead of an forced incomplete or a sack...

    Game ball...

Chandler and Badger played against an average (at best) offense, and the key was kill the run, which they didn't really impact anymore than the rest of the defense. Gabbert played against the # 1 defense in the NFL and engineered the win at the end. Any argument against that is just sheer...

    Game ball...

He WON it. What part of that do you not understand ? We won due to what he did. Are you one of these "I hate Gabbert so he could not have been good" types ? What was that all about ?

    Game ball...

Regained some faith in Mitch here. This was the # 1 defense in the NFL, not some nondescript, run-of-the-mill defense. He ran for 1st down twice in one drive, getting out of bounds to stop the clock while doing so. Anyone trying to give the game ball to anyone else is an idiot. We have not had...

When we lost our emotional edge on defense

CC is now a defensive end in a 4-3 with a another monster on the other end. We played him on the end of a 3-4 and he was constantly double teamed, a little harder to do that to him with what he has going for him now, without unleashing the other side. Difference ? About 6 sacks per year...

When we lost our emotional edge on defense

Pretty easy, if we have lots of talent, it's the coaches. Get rid of them all. No problem here.

    After 10 Games---Cardinals' PFF Grades

When they have already CAUGHT THE PASS that he was supposed to prevent, "putting a lick" on the guy is pretty much immaterial. This MUST be a joke. I have no rational explanation for this, other than that.

    After 10 Games---Cardinals' PFF Grades

PP has fewer tackles because they DON"T THROW THERE... Williams has a LOT more tackles because they COMPLETED THE PASS (that he was supposed to stop) against him and he was close enough to tackle. These stats are meaningess (but they do provide pseudo analysis for your obvious hate for PP) You...

    You are allowed three moves...

PP may have struggled in zones, only because the ENTIRE D struggles in zones. This backfield was NOT built to play zone (and we don't have a single coach that could get them competent at it). This backfield was assembled to man-up and shut it down. Just because we have a totally incompetent DC...

    You are allowed three moves...

WHO CARES ? ... If no one throws his way (while constantly man up against the other teams best WR) then that is a win, if they go constantly against the other side and we can't stop it then that is FAIL by the front office for NOT getting a decent CB to pair with PP, it's NOT a PP fail. Your...

    You are allowed three moves...

I agree Badger is done. as far as PP goes, the QB this season who decided to pick on PP's side is TOM SAVAGE... the guy who makes defensive backfields quake in their boots... if that translates into everybody picking on PP (and succeeding) then you have an argument ... otherwise, if they still...

Scenario: Arians stays with staff changes?

I don't see why not.. an entire country appears to have lost it's mind and become incompetent in a single year... don't see why the management of a single team doing it is that odd.

    HOU 31 AZ 21 Analysis

You could also say, if Blaine Gabbert had simply fallen forward (which SHOULD have been the call here) he would have had the First Down easily. It was a bad play call, and all the backfilling and fingerpointing by the coaches isn't going to change that.
  22. P

    You are allowed three moves...

Please note the Revis/Peterson numbers... PP doesn't (and neither does Revis) have Int number slike the rest BECAUSE THEY RARELY THROW HIS WAY... that is worth a ton, right there.

were you watching at all ?

What is your verdict on Gabbert after one game

If you mean hate on BA .... I've been there for ahwile... he is as toasty as Honey Badger... it happens, people keep going but their ability/competence has been left behind.... if you thought I was dissing Gabbert, you need to re-read that and think about what it says...

Been noticing something about Tyrann Mathieu

I liked Badger, but he is now toast. All the injuries I guess. One play against the Texans said it all. Badger lines up on the edge and comes to blitz. The TE or Tackle (don't remember which, but they were bigger than Badger, like pretty much everyone else in the NFL) moves in front of him...
