Can he handle Suh? Donald?
We play the Rams at least twice a year. I see this pick as an attempt to respond to what the Rams have going with their D-Line in order to protect our immobile QBs.
How about Rosen with the numeral 1 underneath. He's our first round pick (hence the 1) and it still keeps your play on words.
Why the need to incorporate his religious/ethnic heritage at all?
Some Nerd info on velocity---scroll toward the bottom for a listing of a lot of QBs. Our man Logan Thomas is near the top (see his video posted earlier in this thread):

Which thread was that so I can visit?

Wish you had chimed in on the original discussion.
I got my info on Rosen's arm strength off the NFL.com Combine profile page (see description in the section on Weakness). That might be an actual measure to conduct at the combine for QBs. Would make more sense than some of the other drills...
Good point on a 3rd round pick being a 3rd pick. Especially when that seems to be the round that SK gets things right.
The comp pick for CC made it 'easier' to spend our original since Cards would still have a 3rd pick. It is like finding that extra $5 in your jacket that you didn't wear since...
Give some time before announcing a winner. Raiders got the guy they wanted in the first round at our #15 pick and also added to their WR room with Bryant off the trade value of their additional #3.
It's like our trade down with the Saints that got us DBuc and Smoke---I think we won that trade...
Hi Daves! There's a difference between arm strength and velocity of a throw. We actually had a long discussion on the difference between the two on another recent thread---for the life of me I don't recall which one. We had some info there on the physics and oaken1 posted several explanatory...
The understanding regarding concussions and how the brain reacts is still up in the air. For example, the idea that suffering a concussion increases your chances for having another one is or is not true depending upon your definition of 'healed.' One thought is that you are at increased risk...
At this point in time, the Rosen pick is a low risk gamble that required a 3rd and a 5th to take.
The jury will be out on the pick for at least two years after Rosen is installed as the starter.
Hopefully the 'personality issues' are simply based on first impressions and body language and...
A lot of people are relieved that SK made a move for a QB but also did not bankrupt our future drafts. He hit the middle ground and gave some hope to the fan base---at least the ones who visit this forum.
After all, it will be easier to erect a statue now that SK has his testicles back and...
Good point on the non-verbal message that both Cutler and Rosen express with their facial expressions. Both come off as looking down at you with disdain---which may well be not what they thinking or feeling about you. But it is how many people read the eyes and straight-on stare, down-turned...
Cutler is an introvert whereas Rosen is an extrovert.
Both can grate on people if their personality type is not taken into consideration. Both have facial expressions that convey they are looking at you with disdain which is why both get labeled as not being 'easy to get along with.'
If he changes all the "I's" into "We's" when describing his competitive drive and will to win, the vets on the team will rally around him as the leader.
SK played his poker hand very well mainly by letting the draft come to him instead of forcing the issue.
Instead of spending a lot of draft capital to move up to the top 5 he held at #15 until the cost to move up was a reasonable gamble that would not mortgage future drafts.
The 2 picks in...
No, you're not wrong. A lot of factors go into recovery---age, severity, repeated injury, etc. Also, NFL players don't have the luxury of shutting things down during the season---as soon as they pass protocol they're back on the field...
Mixed feelings.
We didn't trade the farm but we didn't have to. We got the guy that every other QB hungry team passed on.
The concussion history is a concern---remember Kevin Kolb walking away because of his injury history.
Send a thank you note to CC. The extra pick in the 3rd that came...
You got some powerful voodoo mojo going on.
Whatever you do, don't have a bowel movement until the end of the 7th round. If you don't hold it that would really put a curse on the proceedings.
