    I think there will be some team out there to overpay for him (i.e. Snyder/Redskins) if we put the tag on him. I agree that we need to take the gamble and tag him so we don't lose him without any compensation.

    Boldin would be #1 in my opinion. He's not the most physically gifted, but it's like he wants the ball more than anyone else on the field and he'll just fight with all that he has to get the ball. Pure desire!!! I love it.

    Who knows if Rowan would have still been fired. Just like the QB change two years ago, even though we were still winning, we weren't scoring enough points, therefore the change was made. I think we still might of seen a change. I guess we will never know.

    Player, being the veteran he is, should of put enough hangtime on it to force a fair catch, even if it was a shorter punt. The Bears offense wasn't doing anything that night. Player blew it.

    That is just plain out assuming Hester was gonna definately return it for a td. There was no way that anyone knew he was gonna do it. The way the Bears offense was that game, I would of had Player punt it to him over and over again. He just needed hangtime on that punt which he didn't have...

    He pretty much "outkicked" the coverage because it was a line drive with no hangtime. He was going to keep great yardage with the return from the get go.

    My bad. I forgot about the real 2nd series. My point is that with ML starting, we have scored points with our scripted plays. After the opponent makes adjustments, we cannot adjust with the game. That's my point.

    That's the thing with the Cards. Their first two scripted series works great but we can't adjust with the opponents adjustments as the game goes on.
