    Lopez also missed the first month, was played sparingly in December and didn't get the starting spot until mid-to-late January. Had he been the starter since day one, I would suspect our defense to be ranked much higher.

    If there was something wrong with Amare, would we not have heard, somewhere along the lines, that the Suns would want to wave the physicals on any trade made for Amare when the Cavs and Heat were pushing hard to get him? :shrug:

    Yeah, there is something wrong with Amare, or at least atypical - he's been playing better defense as of late. If there's something physically wrong with Amare (which I seriously doubt) it's not showing in his level of play, which is usually the first clue to a physical problem.

    I agree completely, and I think we'd see a much higher success rate on dunks - how many of these guys actually practice for the dunk contest knowing they've got a ridiculous amount of time to fail on as many dunk attempts as possible before finally getting it right on like the 8th or 9th try?
