    I'm perfectly fine with not bringing Drake back. I wouldn't pay any RB significant money unless they were a generational talent. It's relatively easy to find productive players at that position, especially if you have a competent line in front of them.

    This is one of my biggest problems with Bidwill. He relies way too much on hiring and promoting from within. Why would you do that when your organization has done an awful job of roster building as a whole?

    Right, because Whiz got involved. That dynamic set him off, and he vowed to never sign another contract here. The point is, they were having discussions until Whiz got involved.

    I don't think that's necessarily true. They were working on an extension until Whiz stepped in. Something during those discussions really pissed him off to the point where he no longer trusted the organization.
