Jones is second installment on JJ trade

I remember a little known player out of Iowa State being drafted by the Suns in the second round that hung around the league for long time, Jeff Hornacek. I see Diener in the same light as Horny, he could have just as successful career. The Suns have not won a championship with any of the...

Jones is second installment on JJ trade

elindholm Mid season will clear up how the Magic will utilize Diener, I still see him as the perfect replacement. Their point guard back log of Nelson, Dooling and combo guard Francis will be either continued with or dispersed. If it does become productive Diener could be traded.

    3.6 Million Remaining

I would think the Suns would hold on to this trade exception now until the middle of the season or the trading deadline. Last year's manuever to Jim Jackson paid off when they added someone who would complement the team they had. The bench was the weakness last year, if shot blocking is a...

Jones is second installment on JJ trade

George I don't see it as an significant drop in talent, I see it as a division of talent. The bigger picture is brighter now than at anytime last season. Jones brings the shooting, Diaw brings the ball handling and defense that JJ provided in just one body. Throw Raja Bell into the equation...

Phoenix Suns trade for James Jones

Thanks for the head to head comparison to Q, I just a lot of people fell in love with Q for no reason. I think this kid is going to break out in the Suns system as well. As you pointed out Q may have had advantage in posting up shooting guards but not the small forwards that were guarding...

Phoenix Suns trade for James Jones

I can always rely on some here to find the facts, thanks for refreshing my memory. Any which way we did not trade the execption away, it is just created by the transaction, right. By doing this deal Indiana now has a trade execption.

Phoenix Suns trade for James Jones

What is up with all of these "team policies" of not reporting the terms of the agreement. It happened with Atlanta as well when they signed Zaza, 24 hours later we knew what he amount was. And if it were team policy we never would have know that the Hawks were offering the max to JJ. Could it...

    Dickau to Boston-Sign and Trade

Confirmed by Ainge but the player or players involved were not disclosed. Mentioned that a trade exeception might be created by the move for the Hornets.

Suns get chance to woo Finley - Wasn't he going to Miami? ;)

He met with Riley and Van Gundy in Chicago yesterday, not sure why he did not go to Miami to visit. It was reported that they had banners outside the arena down there with him in a Heat uniform. The Suns are doing the same and using their player/executive Amare to do the negotiating. Joe...

    finley update

AZ Finest I have agreed with on several occasions and you have done the same, lately it was on Tony Allen. Yet you neglected to put me on the short list of informed posters, I am offended. Not really, I know I am not as up to date as most. Yes, I rile things up with my conspiracy theories...

    D. Anderson agrees to Houston

Hey, you might be on to something. Their backcourt is very old, maybe they would interested in taking Barbosa.

Insider 8/22/2005 West loads up for San Antonio

If he really wanted to be accurate he would have stated that Hunter was the Suns only center last year. I would say Kurt Thomas is definite improvement over Hunter. And adding Brian Grant gives us back up at the 4 and 5.

    D. Anderson agrees to Houston

If the Suns would make a call to Houston I believe the only target would be Sura. If they don't want to move him, so be it. I think the acquistion of Mike James proved to be good for them as well last season, so Sura could be moved. Long shot but what the hell. I do think that they used a...

    D. Anderson agrees to Houston

All of a sudden Houston has a crowded backcourt Derek Anderson David Wesley Moochie Norris Jon Barry Charlie Ward Mike James Luther Head and Bobby Sura I say use part of the TE for Sura.

Bynum signs with Celts, Dickau could be next

The Celts were supposedly going to waive Qyntel Woods but that transaction has not been reported on either Realgm or Hoopshype. A trade for nothing in return could do their roster some good. The signing of Bynum combined with the rumor of also signing Dickau is very odd.

These guys better not do this when David Harrison is around, it will definitely become a menage' twa (I not french I don't know how to spell it).

Bynum signs with Celts, Dickau could be next

I am not a big Banks fan either but he seems to more a true point guard than Barbs. The guy in my sights is Tony Allen.

Johnson says 'no hard feelings' with Suns after trade

I just discovered why Joe wanted to change uniforms. http://www.onlinesports.com/pages/I,MN-KSHW72A44.html I bet he can't wait to get his nickname on his version of the Hawks throwback jersey. ---2--- "A Hole" You have got have a lot pride to wear that uniform.

Bynum signs with Celts, Dickau could be next

Realgm this morning and Hoopshype.com Celts are beginning to have a log jam in the back court. Not sure of the reasoning behind it but some trade must be coming next. Will Bynum is a guy I thought the Suns should consider, he is a player very similar to Nate Robinson. Celts probably brought...

Will the James Jones Deal Happen Soon?

As much as I see the benefit of adding Finley, my preferences are beginning to support trading for Jones. I would rather have a guy that still has a lot of potential on board than someone at the end of his career. Jim Jackson is that guy on the team now and he can at least give some minutes at...

    The 2007 Draft

I think you mean Rajon Rondo, I think he looks very similar to Kevin Johnson in his style of play. I also like Sergio Rodriguez, he could be a carbon copy of Steve Nash. Hopefully these guys stay out until the 2007 draft. If not JCSunsfan, we could always trade the 2007 picks for picks in...
