"Cards' secondary has potential for greatness"

FYI... RGIII's dr said he shouldn't play. His coach rushed him back out of fear for his own job. The team drs do what's best for the players, because that IS what's best for the team. RGIII waiting until the next season would have been unquestionably better for the organization. They invested so...

    Long DWash suspension?

seriously. If we lose Wash for a year, Smith better be banned... I'm soooo worried that will be the case for Wash though. And likely not for Smith. When the news initially broke Wash was arrested my heart sunk. Right after his suspension for pot was announced, I had a feeling it was going...

"Cards' secondary has potential for greatness"

how long ago though? And I'm not saying this to be a smartass if it comes across that way. Medical advancements, especially on this particular surgery due to the amount of money on the line, have come along amazingly in the past decade. Adrian Peterson's recovery and subsequent performance were...

Jurecki: Juke will be a workhorse

Or in OTAs like poor Sean Lee. ACL, MCL and meniscus. That's rough. Just goes to show, even in non-contact drills, you can still suffer significant injury

    Johnny Football living it up

that stupid slacker. Giving back to the fans instead of studying for his 2nd year at a position he excelled at as a rookie... just cut the guy now

Jurecki: Juke will be a workhorse

good. At his size, more than 10lbs over the off season would be doubtful to be all clean weight. Besides, it's hard for me to agree that he needs to bulk up too much after he lead the league in YPC, I'm a big believer in "if it aint broke, don't fix it"

    breakout stars....

good read. For all the players really. I am excited to see what Ellington can do with a real line and a full season under his belt. Ironi the guy we took as a replacement for situational, but loved by the home crowd LSH, has made the fans pretty much forget about him in his first season...

    Off season grade

I'd say LB as a whole is a ?. Our top OLB last season was #4 on depth chart. Now the top 3 are back. I'm curious how it goes

Jurecki: Juke will be a workhorse

I expect about 1/3 of his touches are passes. No way he gets over 400 carries

Bruce Arians: Deone Bucannon trying to be too perfect

I've been excited since we took him. He was fantastic last year, his physical stats are perfect for us, his attitude as well, hard working, down-to-earth guy. He will be a serious contributor in his first season. Of that I have no doubt

    One draft opinion

thanks to their D though? Giving up 350 yards isn't exactly dominant

    Johnny Football living it up

lol, that's what I was thinking. Dude parties a lot, but he gets his job done. Similar, but not as extreme as Michael Irvin. Dude was a party animal, but an elite WR regardless. Now the question is, can the QB position afford to behave the same. It didn't work out for Matt Leinart or Jamarcus...

    Wait. Niklas had hernia surgery?

    That's correct. Very different

    One draft opinion

I don't think you can say Bowles benefitted from the players' talent but Horton didn't when they're the same players. Talent isn't taught. I do think Bowles benefitted from Horton switchinv them to a 3-4 prior as well as his giving the D confidence in themselves. Davis was just terrible at thd...

"Cards' secondary has potential for greatness"

http://t.foxsports.msn.com/nfl/cardinals-secondary-has-potential-for-greatness Good read. I like thd attitudes. I'm really excited to see what this group can do. While our secondary has improved, substantially IMO, I think the big jumps on O will prove to be as much an impact on our D...

49ers Aldon Smith Back At It Again

There's 2 sides to every story. To base an opinion on only one is irresponsible Not to mention impaired to the slightest degree that's added to every DUI charge

    Comments from Floyd on PFT

something like that. He was our best WR last year. Maybe because Fitz was always the D's focus. Maybe because Palmer is more comfortable throwing to him. And maybe because he's really that good. Fitz had more drops last year than I remember ever seeing from him in his career. Maybe he and Palmer...

    Kool Aid???

The improvement from the first half to the second last season was substantial. I can't wait to see the O line this year now. They should be so much improved that Carson will look elite again as he takes full advantage of his weapons. Floyd is improving drastically from his rookie year...

    Kevin Minter

That quasi S/ILB position is what I thought we should have had AW at in his last couple seasons here. He just didn't do well in coverage at SS. He would have done much better moved up in a more ILB type role. Bucannon os a similar type that can cover much better though. I'm still so excited...

    Kevin Minter

I was under the impression Bucannon addresses the coverage of tEs in the middle. Johnson will fill in for Mathieu. He's improved a lot since Horton/Bowles joined. ILB will be interesting
