Its Senior Bowl time - Good Group of QBs

Wasn't much to like from that bunch IMO. I was really hoping for Nassib to do well, but it didn't happen. The ball really pops out of Glennons hands but they also really sail on him. Dude also really needs to learn how to spell the word "Gym" because I don't think he has ever actually been in...

Its Senior Bowl time - Good Group of QBs

Replace Glennon's name with Lindley and you have everyone's reasoning for the love that pick got last year. College QB's make the talent around them seem better then it is. Ben did it with Miami of Ohio, Flacco did it with Deleware, Kapernick with Nevada. None of them exactly had a hot...

    Tom Moore named Asst HC!

Concerning Pratt: Someone already stated he worked at IMG. If you were a highly touted high school kid in Florida going to college you were coached by this guy. If you were a highly touted draft prospect and would like to train in Florida leading up to the draft you were coached by this guy...

    untouchable?

Without a shadow of a doubt, yes. Just as good in pass pro, but 100% better in the run game. You also have to remember that Grimm for the first time in his career here actually changed his scheme to make up for the lack of experience at OT. He gave a ton of help to Potter and Massie, way...

PFW article on players to watch at Senior Bowl

Wasn't talking about one game out of 12, his WR's didn't drop 8 passes per game last year. And they didn't the year before when he was only at 62% with an even more horrid yards per attempt.

PFW article on players to watch at Senior Bowl

Saw that game as well. While he was plagued with drops, those drops may have raised his percentage a few points, but still not into respectability range. Saw many more and I was not impressed one bit. Kiper is enamored with his size and his arm strength, which is why he is willing to try and...

    Dockett back at under Tackle?

I think you have 1 gap and 2 gap techniques mixed up. One gap technique the DL is expected to penetrate a particular gap were as the two gap defensive lineman is expected to take on blockers head on and defend the gaps over each of their shoulders.

    Dockett back at under Tackle?

Doesn't necessarily mean he will be playing a 4-3 undertackle. Could also mean he will just be switching from playing primarily a 2 gap technique like he did with Horton's D to playing primarily a 1 gap technique in the style of Parcell's or wade Phillips type 3-4.

PFW article on players to watch at Senior Bowl

If this week does anything I hope it stops the whole Mike Glennon hype train dead in its tracks. Per usual the draft pundits are trying to find the diamond in the rough and will hype anyone just to do so. I blame it on Kiper who was the first to even bring his name up and now all of the hacks...

    Keim, Bidwill, Arians Interviews 1/18

Lets just say there is a big reason why he got a fat new 5 year contract after only one year on the job. And its more then just having a 11-2 record last year.

    Bowles hired per La Canfora...

So do the Jags, which is why he is still under contract with them for two more seasons. Dont know why Jurecki even brought his name up.

I actually know some farmers, and if one of their cows or pigs has a broken leg they are sending out invitations for a Saturday BBque.

    Get ready for major changes.

You do know Bridges was cut last year, and was only on the panthers for a grand total of 3 weeks before being cut by them as well, right?

    Get ready for major changes.

I might see it the opposite way. With the past regime both were thinking they had one step out the door. With a new regime they may have a rejuvenated attitude?

    untouchable?

Levi Brown! Yeah, that is right I said it.

    Get ready for major changes.

Most likely neither will be cut. Both deals are either to new or to newly restructured to make it worth it in terms of the cap. Its way more worth it to keep both for one more season even if it is just as back ups.

    Bruce Arians intro presser thread

BA was just on the radio doing an interview on 620 sports. All of the same stuff we already know but a new bit of info came out and it came straight from BA. He said he was tentative about taking the interview here because a lot of his friends were recently fired or still on the team. But...

How short your memory about Bowles is

No idea really. I mean Hortons D wasn't exactly the same as Lebeau's was. I assume Bowles would do the same, so we cant even use Parcell's 3-4 as a barometer, heck we are assuming he even sticks with a 3-4 D. He called plays while coaching at Grambling and Morehouse but that was back in the...

How short your memory about Bowles is

Great find for a bump! The Parcells 3-4 that we assume Bowles will run is very similar to how Horton ran his 3-4. Both were heavily predicated on getting pressure from the A gaps. It is why Parcells brought the smaller but quicker Ferguson to play his NT were ever he went. Parcells loved...

    Bruce Arians is new HC

Perception not based in reality it would seem. Rankings in pass attempts per season: 2007 - 31st 2008 - 20th 2009 - 19th 2010 - 27th 2011 - 19th The guy is about as balanced as it comes in a pass happy NFL.

Arians wants to replace Horton with Todd Bowles

Todd Bowles isn't even available. The guy is still employed by the Eagles. Lets wait until the guy actually gets fired before bringing these rumors back up.
