    You're right. I don't think he's going to announce to the media his true evaluation of the talent, but I think his feelings about the talent on defense will show in our off season moves via the draft and FA when it occurs. Wouldn't in the least surprise me to see some big moves.

    Matt Raich. I don't think he's done that bad a job with our LBs really...he just haven't been given anything to work with. If we make a commitment to adding real talent, that isn't 8 years past their prime, at the position I think we'll see marked improvement.

    That's true, but unless the Packers and Steelers make it to next years SB, it may not mean as much. Most of these people were Pack or Steeler fans that took time off work, incurred expenses for childcare or other considerations etc. I see the NFL's attempt to rectify things, but is it enough?

    I'd be all for it...but reports out of Pittsburgh are that Ike is their number 1 priority this offseason. They are in contract talks right now. As for Townsend signing here to coach...I'd love it. Feel he'd relate extremely well with our players and the guy is an outstanding mind.
