    Guessing Arians' Choices at QB

I would prefer we keep what we have and draft QBs and RBs each and every year until these are no longer areas of concern. Based on how the game is played today we need to have depth in both these areas as injuries are far to common to just focus on any one person lasting the season without injury.

PFT Report: Cardinals "very close" to signing Reid as next HC.

How fitting, Reid's success will depend upon Kolb...Not.

    Is it just me----

You could add running backs to your comment also. They start off with all the potential in the world, blow out a knee or need knee surgery from some college injury and we start the search all over again.

    ASFN - 10th Season

When you started college and graduated. At least, that's what I think I remember as one of the better moments on this site. :)

    Early Monday Morning thoughts:

I'm concerned, very concerned about our running game. We have a long season ahead of us and having a balanced attack is a must for us to have a winning season.

Who's name will draw the most ire this year?

I think it will be a tossup between Mitch or THESMEL. :)

Why I Give the Cardinals' Draft an A

Mitch- I'm okay with the Lindley pick. At that point in the draft, the best you can typically hope for is a special teamer, so what not take a Tom Brady-shot-in-the-dark. However, I have a question. In all the footage I saw of this guy, I did not once see him throw a spiral. Has anybody seen...

    Mitch appreciation Thread

Here! Here! It proves once again...the pen is mightier than the sword. I can't wait for Mitch's overall assessment on this year's Cardinal draft.

Floyd pick just doesn't make sense to me.

I thought Floyd is supposed to be faster and bigger than Blackmon. And reviewing some of the film on Floyd, I'm not worried about his ability to separate himself from DBs who are covering him. He is a beast who can out leap, out power and dominate against any pair of DBs who may try and cover...

Cardinals and Kolb Trying to Save Face

When you remember what the cards paid Leinart over the years to hold a clip board, I hope its not deja vu all over again.

    Longest time as Cardinal fan

1960 while working at IDL in NYC. Most of the guys I worked with were Giant fans and always bugging me about who I was rooting for in next Sunday's game. I became a Cards fan when the New York Giants lost at home to St. Louis, 20–13. That loss shut them up, at least for awhile. I can...

Are The Mannings Above The Law?

Knowledge is power, always has been, always will be. The Mannings play to win and are not afraid to walk away from the deal if it doesn't suit their needs. That self-confidence is hard to beat and most importantly, the teams need Manning much more than he needs them. Peyton is in the drivers...

OT: Calvin Johnson now the highest paid receiver in the league

More importantly for Calvin, he has a QB who can throw the ball to where he can catch it.

    Thoughts on #13 Pick

I'm struggling with the idea of drafting a receiver with out first round pick when we have one of the best receivers in the NFL and our QBs have a problem hitting him when he is open. I say build up our area of strength which is defense.

Skelton the starter (Kolb out with concussion)

There are many side-effects associated with a player suffering from a concussion. I know Kolb has tried to practice some this week but crowd noise, stadium lights, head aches and such would have a major impact on his concentration during a game. Never mind the long-term damage it could cause...

    Holes on this team

How about lack of discipline causing stupid penalties to occur at key times during the game. I place the blame on the coaching staff for this one.

    Sam Acho

I'm hoping Acho will tutor Stewart Bradley on picking up Horton's defense so that Stewart can play at the elite level Whiz brags about.

It's hard to believe that he played as well as he did today with the lack of protection the line gave him.

    After the Bye is Over

Great read Harry and if I may add, if Whisenhunt can't coach the players to stop making so many mental mistakes, especially before the ball is snapped, then it's going to be another long, sad season.

People are arguing their points incorrectly

Except for the very few years of success we had with Warner as QB, Ouchies' comments can apply over the history of the Cardinals. Some Head coaches had better success than others, but the end result was the same. We couldn't win the key games, even when we were ahead for most of the game. We...

    Week 3 Prep for Seattle

Mitch, what I fear most on defense is that it appears we have no on the field leader that everyone can look up to, at least, not yet. That dominate alpha male that sets the tone of play for others to follow. I'm looking forward to see who wants to take over this role in the games ahead.

    Next Weeks Film Evaluation

Our problem isn't offense, it's stopping the other team from gaining 400-500 yards on defense. Also, throw in a rash of pre-snap penalties...it is frustrating.
