    A Running Back? Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

The Sporting News Draft book has Williams listed as the top running back. They say he's ver powerful, breaks tackles and has great moves. Blocking needs work

How Long Could Owners Hold Out--Stadium Issues

A great deal of information was given during this video interview with the NFL's lawyer: http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/22825103/vp/42074942#42074942

    Choosing Sides

I don't know where you work, but wage reductions and layoffs are going on all across the country and, except for companies which are public, employees do not have access to the financial information of their employers. To me, the union's demand for ten years of audited financials was outrageous...

    NFLPA applies for decertification.

The idea that the union can decertify and then sue under the anti-trust laws stinks. Is there any doubt but that the union leaders will still be calling the shots going forward? What kind of collective bargaining can there be when the union can at anytime pull the decertification trigger and...

    free agents?

Other teams to be very active in dropping or adding players but the Cardinals do not seem to be doing anything. Are they thinking "all the pieces are in place?" If so, I don't know what they are in place for.

Duh-duh-duh... Another one bites the dust (of pending free agency)

The Cardinals have been active during the off season. They bought a restaurant.

University of Phoenix Stadium is ranked #10 in the NFL

Couldn't agree more. Every time I drive south on the 101 and see the big empty field just northwest of where the 101 meets the 202 I think about what could have been. I dropped my season tickets when the Cardinals moved to Glendale because it is a long trek from where I live and takes up too...

    Give Whizenhunt his due credit:

The only analyst I have heard praise Grimm is Matt Millen and I'll let you decide whether that is a good recommendation. The key question is whether Grimm has produced an effective offensive line. If you think so, you've been watching different games than I have.

    Give Whizenhunt his due credit:

Where did you hear he has such a "sterling reputation .. throughout NFL circles?" I think the comments about Russ Grimm on this board are based on the generally poor performance of the offensive line for quite some time.

    SB commercials.

And Bud managed to mess up the Clydesdales. They have been my favorites in the past. It's sad to think how much money was paid to people for producing such bad inane commercials as this Super Bowl produced.

Why the Cardinals continue to fail:

It was instructive to hear during the Packer-Eagles game today the great work that the Packer's front office has done in bringing in quality undrafted FAs when they had some many players on IR. To consistently win in the NFL you have to have strong people in the front office who can evaluate...

Harbaugh hiring best thing for Cardinals & NFC West....

So how does the Harbaugh signing help our Cardinals? I see a few things. For one it pushes the bar a little and forces the Cardinals brass to make changes if they indeed want to keep pace with 49ers. You are dreaming. Even the Seahawks victory today will not prod the Cardinals brass to do...

    Fire Davis!

Other teams are making coaching decisions. What the Cardinals do or not do in the next week will tell volumes about where this franchise is going -up or down. The excuse people make about no CBA does not seem to be deferring other teams from making moves they think are warranted.

    The price for Luck

You are dreaming. There is no way the Cardinals will go for Luck. Among other things, they would not be willing to pay the compensation his agent would demand. Look for the Cardinals to trade down so they can avoid a big salary.

    Coaches update.

Amen. This could have shortened one of the other threads.

    Rod Graves

Other NFL teams seem to be making moves about hiring new assistant coaches. The silence from the Cardinals is deafening.

    Whiz is Toast

Well I guess not. But I did enjoy watching the Dream Backfield play for the Cardinals at Comiskey Park. But that, of course, was a few years ago.

    Whiz is Toast

I don't buy this "he deserves another chance" talk. I would hope the Cardinals are not running a rehabilitation clinic. The NFL is a tough business and when you under perform as bad as he did this year the team needs to move on. The idea that we could not get a good coach if he is fired is...

    Whiz is Toast

You don't have to agree with Mitch's points to be able to conclude that Whiz should be fired based on his poor performance with a team which finished last in an incredibly weak division, got blown out in some games and looked lack luster in others. His comments quoted in the AZ Republic today...

    Reality

This morning's AZ Republic has an article that tells a lot about Whisenhunt. It says that he has begun conducting exit interviews with the players and planned to give tham candid assessments of their performance in 2010. It quotes him as saying that "sometimes you get emotionally attached...

KW has finally lost his mind

I cannot ever remember a coach at halftime singling out one player for criticism the way Whiz did today. It struck me that he was looking for a scapegoat for his incompetent coaching. There is no excuse for criticizing Skelton the way Whiz did. What a way to give a young quarter back some...

First to Worst: How and Why It Happened

There are no holes on this team except at QB and that is years away from being rectified and is a self inflicted wound. I can't believe someone made this comment. Our offensive line is awful, our running backs are mediocre, our tight ends are lousy and our defense is spotty in many areas...
