I'm not convinced fultz is a Pg on a good team yet.
I suppose looking at stats Wade essentially was the PG for Miami early in his career. Thus the comparison may hold more traction than I thought. That being said I just don't see Wade when I watch Fultz play, but they may not be extremely different prospects.

I think as a lurker, I'm more convinced that Fultz will be an all star than Jackson or Ball.

Jackson kind of scares me because I don't really see him becoming an imposing scoring threat.

With Ball I just don't see him having a chance at being a top PG because I don't think he is an elite athlete. It's rare that non-elite athletes become all stars.

I prefer Fultz and Tatum. I think both will be scorers.

Jackson looks better in college than Kawhai Leonard. I am not worried about his scoring at all. What I am intrigued by is his defense and all around game.

Yup. My sentiments exactly. He really is my number one choice. Fultz being a very close second. Ball is slipping in my mind lately...

If Ball falls in the draft, he can thank his father.

I think you have good taste although I like Jackson a lot.

In regard to Ball, I think he will be an excellent NBA PG but I'm not sure if he sets the world on fire right off the bat.

Absolutely right! And I'm wondering about Lonzo too now with expressing his preference to play for the Lakers. Pretty stupid thing to say considering the Lakers may fall out of draft completely....DUMB.

Yeah. Plus I read slins post just now that Fox lit up ball in a game they played. Maybe Ball isn't clutch.

I watched Fox in the NCAA playoffs and he was probably the most exciting player for me to watch. He has the whole package. Plus he is a PG. Not much more to say. Fultz may be better but I have never watched him play.

If the suns went with Fox over Fultz I wouldn't cry foul over it. Fox has really catapulted up the draft rankings. He should be considered seriously at this point.

Good early call on Fox mainstreet!

Did I tell you I liked Justin Jackson almost as much as Tatum before I realized my error. :D

In the NCAA Finals Justin could not dribble penetrate to the rim which lowered his stock in my eyes. Plus he had a horrible shooting night which might be forgiven.

However, that kid could jump, play point forward and had a soft hook shot.

But what we're watching is the ultimate downside and it should never have come to this - no team, particularly not a 'new' franchise, should be allowed trade so much of their future away on such a long shot, cause that's exactly what it was.

You can't just stick a bunch of stars together and expect it to win, or even stay competitive.

Maybe you could justify the trade by saying the picks had to be spaced further apart but other than that, yeah it's a potential franchise killer.

Are you able to say how the '14, '16 and '18 picks became the 16', '17 and '18 picks?

Yeah, they got all of the previous picks and like I said in the original post they had the right to swap their 2017 pick, maybe you skimmed over that. It was a gamble on Brooklyn's part but they do have their pick every other year and they still got a pick this year, it's just not their own. Had they won a title I'm sure this wouldn't be an issue. We got 2 picks from Miami, in 2018 and 2020. There is the Stepian rule to prevent a team from trading consecutive picks already and adding any more to that rule probably wouldn't be ok'd by owners. Draft picks are becoming more valuable as time goes on and I don't think anyone predicted the Nets would be cellar dwellars when that deal was made.

In a van...down by the river.
Fultz looks like the real deal. Smooth. Skilled. Outstanding body control, vision. Covers alot of ground effortlessly. Reminds me a little of a smaller, less explosive Anfernee Hardaway in his prime.

I'm not sure how to decipher that. Penny's height and explosiveness are what made him a superstar.

So... in other words, nothing like Penny?

Lakers going to total tank in the 4th, now that they see suns won. Playing their 5 worst players.

Must sit booker and warren for final 2 games to at least tie.
