What? You LOVE watching them lose? I can understand wanting them to lose to get more ping pong balls, but to love watching them do it is crazy. When the Suns finally start winning, I'd hate to see how much of a band wagoner you will be.

I hate watching my teams lose, even if there is a means to the end.

If some of you can't stand it then why are you hanging out on a tanking thread??

Yep...I've been having a lot of fun this season. And I still am!

There is a chance that does nothing though considering how the lottery plays into things. How will you feel if the Lakers finish with the 3rd most ping pong balls but win the draft? That could have been the Suns spot if they just won another game. We're guaranteed a top 3 spot in terms of ping pong balls, we could fall or we could move up. It's all a guessing game at this point. If we win 1 of the 2 final games and LA loses out then we split the difference in ping pong balls for 2 & 3.

I want the suns to have the best odds. I thought everyone knew how this worked?? Guess not...

What I find significant, is by being in second place in the lottery versus the third, is the odds dropping to the 5th spot is very high, plus in the third spot you have a chance of dropping to the sixth spot, which you eliminate by being in the second spot. So for me, it's not so much about moving up in the draft, as you better your odds of not dropping in the draft.

It really about both. Better chance to rise... Better chance not to fall. If we get second slot then we can't fall to sixth no matter what.

In our case, we should end up second. So if we got the first spot that would be nice, but since we do not have a David Robinson in the draft, to me this year, I just don't want to drop to the fifth spot. I am totally fine with the two spot. Now if Fulz (SP) was so much better than everyone else, then yeah, I would be cheering for the first spot. I am fine with Bledsoe as our PG, so I am kinda bummed there isn't a dominant Center in the draft this year. I guess if you are in the camp that hates Bledsoe, having PGs at the top of the draft is probably good for those people.

Here's the thing, I haven't watched much this season because they were so bad and haven't made it a priority. But I did take pleasure seeing the losing results knowing it's for a greater growth opportunity.

I think if we limit TJ Warren's minutes or if he gets "back spasms" that last two games, plus we have to limit Chriss if he's hot, I think we can let Booker and Ulis go off in games and be OK. As long as we do not get that 3rd scorer in a game we should be OK. What I like is the games are very entertaining even though we are tanking.

Ally oop lobs to Chriss are worth the ticket price alone!

Yeah it's the best of both worlds when the suns play good but still lose.

I definitely think the technicallity we've been looking for is to limit minutes with these guys. But I don't think Watson can be trusted with the minutes...He hasn't been 100% on board with our tank. I wish we could bench Watson!

Right on. I bet you're glued watching now though!

Unvelieveable, I was just about to post the lakers loss, russell hits a 3 that rolls around bounces back in at the buzzer, they were down 2.

Suns clinch at least tie for 2. Control their own destiny for sole 2 spot , ultimate tank needs to come on tues

This was a BIG game. So glad. A tie for second place is worst case scenario. I still want sole possession of #2 slot cuz I'm greedy like that but still...We aren't in a bad spot.

The pressure on the Lakers and their fans is tremendous right now!

If we get sole 2 spot, 88% chance we get top 4 pick, which guarantees you ball, fultz, jackson or tatum.

anyone not having fun with this end of the season ridiculousness, watching our games, laker games, buzzer beaters, 70 point games, a couple solid ass-whoopings after a massive tank streak... just takes basketball wayyyyyy too seriously.

at least this is INTERESTING. When was the last time this board was super active this late in the season? It's a great draft and this team is doing exactly what they should to try and benefit so we don't have to go through another atrocious 7 years of painful nothingness.

Our old friend Tyler Ennis needs to be thanked tonight. He had 20 points and 5 assists off the bench for the Lakers.
