Although Amare lost his head for a moment, i give him credit for staying cool all the way. Nate deliberately brought in Howard to harrass him and harass him, he sure did. We will see what happen come Saturday.

We talked about Portland getting more physical with us in Game 3 with their hopes of getting calls. Well, they got a bunch of them and momentum swung their way big time.

Suns need to anticipate a much more physical game in Game 4 since Batum is likely out.

Now because of the mental lapse on the Suns side, they have to go back and figure out how to stop Webster and Rudy on Saturday. I kinda like how it ended with all the physical play, it will make the Suns come out determined Saturday

the game was still a 24 point game when Amare pulled that stupid ass garbage and then it continued to spiral down in the fourth when we tried force feeding him... which I've just never seen work against good teams.

The energy of the Suns was lost way earlier. You can't blame Amare for getting emotional for that. Gentry shoulder some blame for not recognizing the energy problem and insert the bench earlier in the 3rd. Then he had to put in the starters and Nash in particular back with only 2 min into the 4th.

Now that richardson is going to be double-teamed for game 4, who is going to step up?

They are going to let Rudy run more, now that he hit 4 3's in a row...I'm sure confidence is back a bit....

Homo-anouncers in portland are trying to stir sh*t in hopes the NBA will suspend amare. they are making it out like he is KG. Mcmillan is also going to throw in Howard and others to harass amare and get into his head.....I hope Amare holds it together and keeps his composure like tonight.

In the postgame interview, both Gentry and JRich credited it to Blazers focused on stopping Amare for JR getting open looks. Coach just said that someone would have to be free after Amare/Nash screen and roll, unless they let Amare destroy them.;)

Channing Frye is showing why he should opt out and never get another contract with the Suns.

BS. You can ask Ouchie. I texted him in the first quarter that Amare was going to do something REALLY stupid. You could see it coming from a mile away big lead or not. He's just not a smart player evidenced by his inability to learn from his mistakes... a mistake that cost this team a title and it is THAT which will keep him from ever becoming a true super-superstar. He's a great player with unbelievable skill... with a bag of rocks up top.

Any chance amare gets suspended? Webber, Barkley, KSmith pretty much said no way in hell.

And barkley is willing to say a guy should get suspended, last year he was the first one pushing for howard to get suspended for his elbow to dalembert.

The refs decided to completely change how they were calling the game and before Amare's "elbow", he was getting mugged on the other end of the floor. Aldridge was fouling Amare like crazy and he wasn't getting any calls. Amare swung around as Aldridge was pushing him, this is the damn playoffs.

Amare won't be suspended. No way in hell. A fine, maybe, but that's all. Aldridge did charge Amare there as the refs were breaking it up--why no crying about that?

There is no question the refs changed their foul calling after the half. It was way too blatant. To keep the ratings up things like this need to be done I guess.

The funny thing is, the way the first half was played was much more entertaining than the second. Maybe that's blind homerism, but I can't imagine a neutral looking at that 2nd half and thinking that's going to get more ratings.

A lot of people (outside of Portland fans) will be surprised if he gets suspended. Some players play with emotions it is their strength as well as their weakness. If the Celtics dont have KG and his crazy emotions, that squad dont win squat.
It is not easy to have the opposition abuse you time after time, at one point i thought Howard was determined to mess with not only his head but injure him, the way he was attacking him.
Amare knows they are playing mind games but for some when they have that adrenaline pumping, it is hard to control their emotions. like i said earlier, i applaud his calmness down the stretch in this game

When you listened to the postgame comments by Gentry, Nash and JRich, you'd know that Amare was one if not the major reason we won the last two games. Did you read that Nash called him "unplayable" yesterday or so? You must have some really dark-colored eyes watching him play, only looking for negatives.
