I thought Miley did great tonight. Got himself in a few jams early, and pitched his way out of them. I like what I saw.

Ending that road trip with a three game lead was as good as you could hope for.

Colorado's been hot lately. This could definitely end up being a three team race.

I really hope CY can get hot these last four weeks.

Me too, he is definitely heating up. The confidence is building you can see it. It's all those walks that are gettin him going. Pitchers know if they dont throw strikes he'll take all day so they have to give him better pitches. That's the biggest difference from earlier in the month, good for him for being a pro and (hopefully) working through it.

Collmenter solid again.

Dbacks follow up 6 losses with 4 straight wins. Way to go guys. Just keep winning.

Great win. I have Collmenter on my fantasy team for $1, I may keep him. But seriously folks, a great win considering the 3am arrival at the airport and the fact the Giants won. Props

CY has been the top offensive performer for the past 4 games when measuring win contribution

Why, oh why, did Upton have to drop a routine fly ball, allowing the Pod's only run?

Then almost climb up the back of his second baseman who was catching a pop fly on the next play? Can't he keep his mind on the game?

AZ Rep says that Hernandez X-Rays were negative and he'll be back in a few days. Obviously very good news, considering how nasty it looked on the replay.

Agree. He's horrible, he could be in single A and he'd get benched for standing there with the bat on his shoulder. That was a batting practice pitch...

I'm trying to stay positive about this team but man, do we look exposed on this trip or what.:bang:

Hmmm

Odd that Parra didn't see the stop sign. If he hadn't hesitated rounding 3rd that would have been a much closer play. Good for him getting a big shot on the obviously much larger Ianetta though.

Hudson with a great game and the Diamondbacks win again. Looks like they will be up 5 after tonight.:)

What did I do to you Jon? Is it fun to go back and dig up the one negative comment I made in this thread and throw it in my face once we get back on track?

Ya I suck for having some doubts after we got destroyed and looked like total crap in that stretch.

Another big play from last night's game was Chris Young's great catch in centerfield.

This is why we should accept his ups and downs offensively. He's saved quite a few runs this season alone. Incredible range.

I didn't see it, but I just heard that the Diamondbacks pitchers plunked three guys after Upton got hit (again). That is awesome!
