The Brewers are already down 3-0 in the first inning to the Phillies. :)

It will be interesting to see if they wear the old uniforms again tonight because the players asked Hall if they could wear them the entire weekend.

How about that in game Microphone of Bob Brenly talking with Randy Johnson while pulling him in Game 6 of the World Series...

BB- "Could you throw an inning tomorrow?"
RJ- "Yes... Yes. Well.. I"
BB- "You good?"
RJ- "Yes. Yes, definitely."
BB- "K then we'll hit for you right here and get Whitty in."
RJ- "I'm not going to come out unless I am pitching tomorrow though."
BB- (Pause....) "Well, we don't know for sure if we'll need you, ya know what I mean?"
RJ- "Well, in the instance that you need me to pitch, I'll be ready... Trust me."

What a badass

The Diamondbacks won but did they? Guess we will have to wait until tomorrow.

We won, they said on the radio that all that matters is Upton touching home plate. I have no idea if that is the actual rule or what the protest can yeild, that's just what they said on the postgame.

What a game, the crowd was AWESOME! GO DBACKS! I gotta say that was by far the most exciting baseball game I've been to in years. So fun seeing all the legends and watching the new legends get it done. This team is all heart.

Hopefully Miggy goes home and pulls his head out of his ass because his mental errors almost cost us this game THREE times.

1. Running home when he clearly had no chance
2. Swinging out of his freaking shoes when all we needed was a hit (and eventually hitting into a double play)
3. Not running to third.

I LOVE Miggy, he's one of my favorite players but he had a complete mental meltdown tonight. My whole section was yelling WTF MIGUEL?????

Fortunately we still won. :)

Where were you sitting? Me and my family, my brother, niece, DCR, Linder, Abomb and Erin were all KILLING it in the left field bleachers. My throat is killing me, but we refused to be typical Chase fans. We INSISTED on being loud and proud.

BTW- You can thank me for the win. We all had the rally caps going but I noticed the stadium worker at the top of the stairs wasn't wearing a hat, so I ran up there and moved her hair that was resting on her right shoulder to her left. You're welcome. :D

I lucked out and got seats in 128 right behind our dugout. My brother hooked me up.

Dbacks fans CAN get loud, but you are right it's like pulling teeth man. Takes a bunch of fans who know baseball to coax it out of them.

And thank you for saving the day Brian. :D

From what I've read, all that is required on a bases loaded walk-off walk is that the runner on third touches home plate and the batter touches 1B. What the runners on 1B and 2B do has no bearing. The umps got it right.

I wonder if Miggy knew that or just lucked out. :)

EDIT: 'Also just read that the Pods withdrew the protest after conferring with their front office and the umpires.

....... I guess we all learned something about that rule.

I'm stunned. Kennedy just couldn't locate his fastball at all.

Hope the guys can pick him up now, he's earned a bad outing.

Another series win for the Diamondbacks. Mattingly really screwed this game up with not having a pitcher warming up before the 10th inning. Magic number is down to 6 and still tied with the Brewers.

Sucks for Kennedy. But damn, how many times are the Dbacks going to come back for the win? Crazy.

Because of his ERA, he's a long shot for Cy Young. He's our Cy Young.

When we scored two in the first inning, I said, "I wonder if, with less pressure to pitch a shutout, he might get hit." It was a possibility and it happened. He's been pitching under pressure for so long . . . hey, he's only human.

Isn't it ironic that, by scoring two early runs, he wasn't as effective? If so, he got it out of the way, we got the win and even tied it up while he was the pitcher of record.

All in all, a happy ending. Do we have any doubt that he'll get that 20th win (at least)? Nope!
