Coyotes pull out a win in DC, 6-5. Nice offensive burst after getting down 3-1. Dubnyk was in goal and only had one soft one by my tally - the PP goal to Ovenchicken. He needed to move much quicker than he did. He did make an adjustment on the same shot later in the game, so that was good to see.
OEL was back with Michalek, but he still sucked. Is he hurt, upset about something, out of shape, or just sucking for the sake of sucking? We have seen too much good out of him for this.

Nice win against the Leafs on Tuesday. Starting to resemble Tippett hockey so we may have hope for this season if we continue to put in these type of efforts.

Big test coming up in Anaheim Friday.

Great win against Anaheim. Have a nice 3-game winning streak going. Hope they can continue this run.

Looks like they were spent on Saturday after the Ducks game. Played pretty solid D, but gave up a late one and weren't able to secure any points on the Isles. Next up, the Stars.

Blew a two goal lead against a team that had lost 7 in a row. Not good.

Worst loss of the year so far. Blowing a 2-0 lead and then with the game tied late in the 3rd period and on a power play, they give up the game winner on a short-handed goal. :bang:

Picked up a loser point from the Caps in a pretty good game. The team defense is finally showing signs of life. We really have to lose this bad habit of playing down to teams like Calgary and Dallas though.

Yotes control the game for forty minutes then proceed to poop the bed in the first minute of the third period to lose to Dallas. Again.

Split last weekend with a win in SJ and then lost to the Ducks the next day.

Last night blew another lead and lost to the Avs in OT. Hanzal with the hot hand again, except for the wrong team. :bang::bang::bang:

Ugh, another home loss. 3-0 to the Flames. At this point I think we can say the surprise team from 2011/12 was just that. I don't think it is coming back. Not with this core. I guess we will see if the ownership is in it to flip a sweet deal or build a solid team.

Well, we certainly struck the Oil last night in a 5-2 drubbing. Rieder with back to back shortys. Of course, that's tempered by the fact that they've lost 10 in a row. But I'll take it. No mercy from the schedule with Calgary tonight.

Ha! Yeah, one of those kind of seasons all right. As expected, we fell to Calgary by three, again. Although, it was a much closer match then the score might indicate.

We need a scorer in the worst way, but nothing but crickets in the new ownership front. And there aren't exactly a lot of game-breaking forwards around even if price were no object.

Tonight the Queens come to town so let's see which team shows up to play. And bring your snickers.

Yotes shut out 4-0. Can't wait to see how they match up against the Bruins on Saturday.

It's getting depressing updating this thread at this point. I'll let everyone know when we don't suck. :bang::bang::bang:

Such a bummer... we have one of the best coaches and one of the best GM's in the game. What gives??

Years of being without an owner has finally come home to roost. We were overachieving for so long it kind of seemed like we could keep the ship afloat despite the cards being stacked against us.

We have some good stuff in the pipeline, I just don't know if we have the luxury of time to develop it.

Some good news from yesterday related to the Coyotes:

GLENDALE -- Arizona Coyotes Foundation volunteers, including all of the team's players and coaches, on Monday teamed with the City of Glendale and KaBOOM! to transform Bonsall Park North near 58th Avenue and Bethany Home Road.

After the work was complete, a ceremony - featuring youngsters cutting a construction-paper ribbon they had made - was staged to dedicate the restored playground.

Approximately 1,000 children in the area are expected to use the playground, which the volunteers transformed from dilapidated to functional in about six hours.

The renovation occurred after months of planning between the Arizona Coyotes Foundation, Glendale officials and non-profit KaBOOM!, which works to improve playgrounds nationwide. KaBOOM! was founded in 1996 and has built and improved more than 15,000 playgrounds, engaged more than 1,000,000 volunteers and served more than 6,600,000 children.

The Arizona Coyotes Foundation was the major financial sponsor of the project.
