Watching the Bucks/Rockets game and I can't help but think that COY is already locked up for D'Antoni.

Rockets may not win a championship this year but their such a fun team to watch. You could argue their more fun to watch than the SSOL Suns.

James Harden better get MVP. I don't care how bad he is defensively just like I didn't care about Nash's defense.

What is PHI record after Embiids rediculous playoff prediction, like 7-1?

ESPN Sources: Philadelphia rookie Ben Simmons could make much-anticipated NBA debut shortly after All-Star break. http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/18505129/ben-simmons-debut-philadelphia-76ers-all-star-break …

76ers 7-2 last 9 games and just beat 2nd best team in East. Joel Embiid makes crazy playoff statement and now a Simmons might return early?

It's sick how bright their future is. They could easily trade for Jimmy Butler this summer.

Since Dec 31:

Sixers with Embiid on the court:
Off rating: 110.5
Def rating: 89.2
Net rating: 21.3

Sixers without Embiid on the court:
Off rating: 97.1
Def rating: 114.2
Net rating: -17.1

So what difference does Embiid make:
Off rating: +13.4
Def rating: +25.0
Net rating: +38.4

They will like chumps if they don't deal him imo because it would show that he's actually untradable player.

The worst part isn't the trade, it's that they compounded that by giving him such a big contract.

Knights contract is not big, it was considered a bargain at that time and still is by no means "such a big contract".

Yeah they are 7-2 over their last 9 games but did you realize that stretch coincided with them finally moving TJ into the starting lineup? Prior to that he had only started, I believe, 1 game this season and they won that one too.

I think Embiid is already a top 10 player and when you consider his presence on both ends of the court, that might be selling him short.

I never miss a Suns game but I tend to watch them after the fact and I use the NBA League Pass internet to see them. My cable network only has one HD channel for the NBA package and I think just about every Philadelphia game this season has aired there. So I've watched almost every 76ers game thus far and I have to say it's a very entertaining team right now. But everything hinges on Embiid, if they lose him they are right back to the bottom. And while that may be true of a lot of teams with superstars, none of those superstars have the injury history that Joel has.

TJ didn't play against MIL and PHI won that game. Lets not go overboard here on WHY the team is winning games.

They are winning because of Embiid, thought I made that clear. And yes, I should have subtracted the Milwaukee game but still, that means they are 7-2 in games TJ has started this season. I'm quite sure that would be flipped or worse without Embiid but I'm equally sure it would not be 7-2 had TJ not played.

TJ has added a lot to that team, mostly the ability to get it to the right person at the right time without turning the ball over. He'd be a great backup point guard and probably shouldn't be any more than that but he is far and away above the others that Philly has tried at that spot the past few years and that includes Ish Smith.

It should also be noted that the run corresponds with Noel replacing Okafor as the backup C.

It's a bad contract. And no, his contract was not seen as a bargain at the time. During his time with the Suns at the time, he was just as awful as he is now.

If I recall correctly you are not a fan T.J. McConnell. I haven't watched the 76ers much but he seemed to move fairly well in the games I've watched.

I should note I would not have paid much attention to him except for one of your past comments about him. :)

I'm not a fan of him, but I'm also not a hater. I didn't watch him until Embiid stepped on the court for PHI. His Nov offensively was horrible and I was simply reacting to what I was seeing on the court.

I honestly did not expect my post to make that much of an impression on as many people as it seemed to have.

I wonder if this could help facilitate a Knight trade to the Kings for Gay with the Suns getting an asset back? Totally brainstorming.
I would take a Willie Cauley-Stein in return as insurance in case Len leaves.
