Knicks not interested in John Calipari at moment, sources say
Kentucky Wildcats coach John Calipari has reached out to the New York Knicksthrough intermediaries to express interest in the team's vacant president of operations role, sources said Thursday.

The Knicks, who parted ways with Phil Jackson on Wednesday, do not have interest in Calipari at the moment, sources said.

Kentucky said in March it had signed Calipari to a two-year extension, making his deal valid through March 2024. He is set to make $7.75 million next season and $8 million per season thereafter.

Danilo Gallinari landscape heading into tonight: 9 teams interested, some contenders, w/ Denver/Kings too. Likely takes a few days to unfold

Rubio traded for OKC for a draft pick. Salary dump for the Wolves and they are targeting Lowery!

Lowery
Wiggins
Bulter
Town
Dieng

Now that is a starting 5! Size to slow down the Warriors!

And everybody keeps saying "The Suns need to wait till the Warriors window closes." If you get in that mode of thinking you'll be waiting forever.

The TWolves have a solid team - on paper, leastways. I expected them to be much better than they showed last year. They are ready to mount a challenge though they probably won't go beyond the first round this year. Two years from now they'll be making noise.

We are not near them so worrying about GSW is not something we need to spend time on - we have to take the first step up from futile.

Edit* Rubio is going to the Jazz for the OKC pick that the Timberwolves own.

He is one of the most annoying coaches ever. He screams the entire game.

But he is a heck of a coach. I'd fire all of Chicago and bring him back in a heard beat and give him full control. He is going to take the Timberwolves far.

I really hope another team signs Iguodala. The rest of the league needs to peck away at GS until their bench is depleted and full of scrubs and washed up players like Cleveland and Miami before Lebron left.

losing Iggy would be a solid blow to that team. They'd still be beyond favorites to win it, but it would be a crack in their unpiercecable-armor they have now.
