Watch the Jazz regress with Rubio. Guy was never that good as people bill him to be.

And I'm thinking acquiring Rubio was a good trade by the Jazz for a 2018 first round draft pick which is top-14 protected.

Paul george to okc per ramona , did not see that coming.

Lakers have to be nervous, if he and westbrook have success might stay?

Radio in LA already dreaming that This is a tryout to see if they can play together so that they will then go to the Lakers next offseason.

GREAT trade for OKC. Didn't give up Adams or Kanter. Can still go really big with a legit #2.

And what the hell is Boston doing? They couldn't beat Oladipo and Sabonis?!

If westbrook signs an extension in the next couple days... can't wait to see lakers reaction.

Ainge just loves draft picks and getting beat down by real contenders.

Perhaps the best plan for the Suns would be to let other teams spend all their cash and pick up leftovers.

I'm interested in what Alan Williams and Alex Len will be offered by other teams.

The NBA really needs a hard cap.

This would take some fortitude by the owners to stand up to to the players. Too much money being made right now.

However, perhaps the super teams spending will be their eventual downfall.

It's getting close to 9 p.m.

I wonder if the Suns will do anything tonight.

This is a deal to watch as it sets the market on backup big men. Cristiano Felicio resigns with Chicago for 4 years and $32 million. He's a 6'10 Center/Forward who just finished his 2nd season, averaging 15.8 mpg in 66 games, averaging a whopping 4.8 ppg and 4.3 rpg a game. He's not a stretch big either, so I think he compares to Big Sauce fairly well. I hope Williams doesn't get a deal like that.

The max I'd want to pay to retain Williams is 4 years/$24 million. With incentives, I wouldn't be opposed to get to $30 million but I'd be hesitant offering more than $6 million per for an undersized Center with no range.

Here are the career stats for Felicio...

There have been 2 deals so far with incentives playing a role. Tony Snell's deal with the Bucks includes 4 million in incentives, it's 4 years and $44 million but could get up to $46-48 million in total. I've seen both numbers mentioned as the peak with the incentives.

Jrue Holiday's deal is $126 million over 5 years with incentives that could bring it up to $150 over 5. That is the highest amount of incentives I've seen in an NBA deal. I wonder how that counts against the cap, annually.

JJ Reddick signed a 1 year/$23 million deal with the 76'ers.

That is just absurd. Although, for 1 year it's not that awful. I would not be against the Suns signing a player like Millsap for crazy money for 1-2 years. That way we wouldn't have his bird rights to retain him and he'd be done when his deal was up.

https://sports.yahoo.com/j-j-redick-sixers-agree-expensive-one-year-deal-202157550.html

Jesus... FOR WHAT PURPOSE DO WE SIGN MILSAP, EVEN FOR ONE OR TWO YEARS?!

To maybe get us an 8 seed and not get a good enough look at Chriss/Bender so that when they're contract extensions come up, we're flying blind there?

I swear, I can not understand signing Milsap for any reason other than being impetuous.
