Honestly Bledsoe and Josh Jackson for Kyrie Irving isn't particularly one sided on either direction.

yeah... I don't think I'd want to do that deal because of how high I am on Jackson, but that's not a wipeout of a trade. Irving is a MASSIVE talent, but still has question marks as to how much he can elevate a team without riding shotgun next to Lebron.

You are also trading two (at the very least) decent defensive players for a guy who can't guard a chair. It kind of depends on what your team needs. If you are Utah or Memphis, Kyrie is more valuable. If you are Phoenix, Bledsoe and JJ are more valuable.

Irving's wins added is 15 compared to Bledsoe's 10. Irving's PER is 3 higher.

His Value Added is 450 compared to 310. To put that in perspective TJ Warren's value added was 157 so Irving on the floor is as valuable as two of our starters.

Irving is basically better than Bledsoe at everything other than defensive rebounding.

And Irving is only 24.

Love Kyrie but he doesn't solve our problems. Wouldn't trade JJ straight up.

Indiana might suddenly have some leverage with PG13. Sounds like Boston is going after both George and Hayward while Cleveland is still trying to acquire him too.

I don't think anyone would dispute that Irving is better than Bledsoe, he's top a 3 PG in the league behind Curry and Westbrook. I don't think he's good enough to lead us into title contention, I'm not sure he'd even make us a playoff team right away. Winning a title with Lebron so early in his career might effect his play in the future negatively also. The difference between good and great players is great players do everything they can to win. Kyrie already has a title on his resume, I'm not sure if he'll be motivated enough to be the #1 guy on a true contender. I don't think he has that mentality. He'd be an upgrade over Bledsoe but I wouldn't give up Jackson and Bledsoe for him.

I have some mixed thoughts about trading Bledsoe and Jackson for Irving (25). I'd rather take my chances on Bledsoe and Jackson. It's a gamble though. Bledsoe is on top of his game right now and Jackson has his career ahead of him.

If one asked me before the draft if I would trade Bledsoe and #4 for Irving, the answer would probably be yes. I didn't think Jackson would fall to #4.

The reason one trades for Irving, he is already a star. Team him with Booker and look for another star to join them and the Suns would be right there.

I'm just too excited about having a mad dog possible superstar added to the team. I have sky high expectations about Jackson.

Not a terrible trade for the Clippers since they risked losing Paul for nothing. I wonder if they will look to trade Griffin as well.

So... do the Celtics try to trade for Griffin and sign Hayworth now? That would make them pretty nasty.
