The Wolves want to trade Rubio to get a PG to pair with Butler and Wiggins. I'm not sure if they have enough cap space to go after players like Lowry in free agency but I'm curious if they'd send us a pick plus Rubio for Bledsoe? Their contracts match up, each being paid about $14 million over the next 2 years. I always thought a backcourt of Bledsoe and Butler would be a strong defensive backcourt. Rubio just hasn't worked out in Minnesota and Thibedoux doesn't seem to be a fan of his but he's one of the few pass first starting PG's in the league.

He should make Booker, Chriss, Warren, and Jackson better. I guess the question is, how much better could he make them compared to Bledsoe? I'd rather have to deal with resigning Rubio in 2 years than Bledsoe & Rich Paul.

Some people need their voting rights revoked. I'm not sure which stands out more, or which is the worst, between Steph Curry getting 3 votes for the 2nd team or Eric Gordon getting 1 vote for 1st team? At least a few people thought Curry played good defense, meanwhile there was 1 person who voted Gordon for some reason. I wonder what the rest of that ballot looked like.

Bled's D has fallen off but zero - not as many votes as Isaiah Thomas and Jrue Holiday???

Yogi Feller got 63 voles for the rookie team PG to Ulis' 10. Ulis got 40% more assists in slightly fewer minutes, had a better Ast/TO ratio and shot better from the field.

I'm glad we're not in a situation like the 76'ers. Embiid can be signed to an extension this summer and apparently they're making it a priority to sign him to one. He could make anywhere from $100 million for 4 years to $130 for 5 years. That's a ton of money to shell out for someone that's only played in 31 games over the last 3 seasons. If he signs a max deal that could effect the market value of all rookies looking for extensions. I wouldn't be surprised if he got a max deal but how many team options can be placed in a contract and how soon could they put a team option in? He could kill their cap space for years to come if he gets hurt again.

There are a few players who have missed their rookie season because of injury in the past but I can't recall a player missing multiple seasons because of injuries. Teams should be protected somehow, maybe changing the way rookie contracts work so if a player misses an entire season due to injury before they ever play in the NBA then the team is able to extend their rookie contract an extra season. That would make it so they can't become restricted free agents until they've played in 4 seasons rather than it just being 4 seasons from when they were drafted.

If the 76ers want to extend a player to huge dollars who has played in only 31 games over 3 years so be it, however, there should be some stipulation they can't draft top 3 year after year.

IT getting defensive votes is a joke.

I know everybody has their own take on the NBA lotto but I like this idea. I would even take it a step further. Maybe you can only have a top 3 pick once every 3 years.

I would make it even stricter so an NBA team cannot pick in the top 3 more than two consecutive years.

Their lotto balls would be thrown back in the 3rd year should they fall in the top three. They would draft four or latter.

Apparently there was a draft day deal in place to move Bledsoe to Cleveland, Kyrie to Phoenix, and the #4 to Indiana with Paul George going to Cleveland. What killed the deal is Dan Gilbert tried to get assurance from Lebron that he'd stick around longer than just this season and he didn't get that so the trade was killed.

I don't believe this but if that trade went through my foot would have went through something.

If there was any truth to the trade rumors, I think the Suns would have needed a draft pick or a younger player to sweeten the trade.
