Like to see the squad he was up against. Level of competition must have been really weak.

Oh I agree but 91 points in a game is pretty remarkable. The other team scored 92 so it wasn't like they won the game by 100/.

Also Thon Maker has a standing reach of 9' 2.5" (from DraftExpress).

In honor of tonight's lottery, I just ran an incredibly thorough scientific study of unquestionable methods. In other words, I pressed a button 25 times on ESPN's mock lottery machine.

The Suns only got the #2 pick once, and the #3 pick once, but the #1 pick was awarded to the Suns SIX times! That's over twice the stated probability of 11.9%.

The takeaways:

1. A higher force is obviously communicating to me that this will be the year the Suns finally have luck on their side.

2. I clearly have too much time on my hands.

3. I will be spending the rest of the morning and afternoon trying to erase from my mind the one scenario that showed up where Washington won the #1 pick and we were stuck at #6.

Really hoping this is our year...after Simmons/Ingram, things get pretty dicey.

I think it's a little dicey with Simmons and even somewhat with Ingram but it gets downright scary after that. I wouldn't be shocked to see 5 players drafted in the bottom half of the round that have far better careers than half the guys in the top 10. For example, players such as Ulis, Barber and Felder are all being mostly ignored but in the end each of them is likely to be better than most of the lottery picks.

This kid Joel Bolomboy seems to be the athlete of the draft scoring around the top in almost everything--vertical leap, lane agility, shuttle run, 3/4 dash.

If he can actually play basketball, he could be one of those small school gems.

I think he's the kind of player you hire a full time coach just to work with him. He's already 22 but he has a lot of learning to do. Physically he has everything you need. It would be interesting to hear Len's opinion of him.

Yep, we've seen so little of these kids that to draw conclusions on any of them is way too premature.

The only real consolation we have is the fact that McD has been pretty good at drafting, so assuming we get a 4ish/end of lottery pick, we'll at least have a shot.

Cat Barber is IMO one of the more interesting guys in the draft. I personally think he's overrated he's not a good shooter at all but he's very athletic and became a good defender.

He's also got some very "interesting" history that happened a few years ago will be interesting to see if NBA teams care or not.

Just looking at his college stats. He increased his numbers and efficiency every year. His numbers this year were 17 ppg, 12.6 rebounds AND he shot 61% from the two and 37% from the 3. Its the Big Sky conference, but that is not bad. Those are just numbers though. I have not seen him play.

OH. and he shot 70% from the line. That is a good sign. I think he definitely should be a consideration somewhere.

His twitter now says he just got ahead of himself. Let's hope Dikembe Mutombo Mpolondo Mukamba Jean-Jacques Wamutombo doesn't know something we don't know!

Well we know the lottery already happened earlier in the day and the results just haven't been announced publicly yet. So maybe Mutomgo has some connections with the people involved....lets see.

Of course... I can only roll my eyes. Never ever will we get a stroke of luck. I guess I should be thankful we're not picking 6th.

It would suck if those few pointless wins cost us the #1 pick while the Celtics get it.
