At least celts didn't get 1 or 2, that would make us sick for not tanking.

Will celts take bender?

And really, what's the big difference between 3 and 4? There certainly was no guarantee we'd get the 1 had we ended up with the third best record.

Besides, looks like Boston may go Buddy with their pick, so if we want Dragan, we've probably got him. (Word I heard is that they are looking at going with a G with their pick)

I just hate this team is OK with just being exciting verses and drafting forever in mediocrity. The 4th pick isn't the worst that could have happened but man.....just once I would love to see luck fall to us.

I guess I can hope for a miracle trade this allows us to move up.

I get wanting some luck, but hat has nothing to do with the team.

Mutombo was right

Somebody told him. He let it slip. The ping pong balls were pulled much earlier in the day. Huge egg on the face of the league.

I guess I am happy. We had greater odds of moving down 1.

No one knows how many spots it meant. There were 1001 number combinations.

Maybe it would be a good idea to just move on. This could have been much worse. In fact, if we were truly unlucky as everyone says we are we'd be in a much worse position. As it is I think we're luck-neutral on this one.

Not that he's Mr. Reliable, but Chad Ford said it today. They would go guard if they were outside top 2.

Hey, if the Celtics really want to guard I think the Phoenix Suns have at least one may might be willing to trade for that #3. :)

I just don't think good luck will ever find the Phoenix Suns, but like others have said at least Washington didn't jump into the top 3 along with two other teams leaving us at #7.

This is probably a stupid question, but does anybody see any chance at all that Philly goes Dunn with the first pick? I think hey almost certainly will go with Ingram, but is that as big a need?

Draftexpress is pretty set on the Celtics going Bender. They are a lot more reliabke tgan Chad Ford.

Celtics have IT, Smart, Rozier, Bradley etc and probably lose Sullinger.

At #4 I might take Chriss or Brown.

The chances of the Suns getting the #4 pick--1%
Chances of getting the #5 pick--35%
Chances of getting the #6 pick--16%

I fully expected to be picking 5 or 6. Whether it is 3 or 4 I don't think matters.

We have certainly had worse lottery days.

It is 1 hour before the reveal, it wasnt determined when Mutombo tweeted.

Zach Lowe tweeted just before he went in as a witness.

Boston is probably the last team in the league that would go with a G. They have 3 really good ones in IT, Smart and Bradley.

They desperately need a big so I doubt they pass on that for another G.

In the presser the Suns basically said they will draft best player available versus need.

That basically tells me they may not be convinced anybody on this team is a lock for the future. The only thing they said is they don't want to draft two rookies playing the same position.

I'm glad the lottery is over. It was gut wrenching as usual.

Expecting Charlie Brown to kick the football with Lucy holding is too much to ask.

At least the Suns did not move down in the draft which I thought might happen.

Wow do I have to eat crow. So let me get this straight--we had a better chance to get the #1 than to stay at 4? Crazy.
