Yeah, Patrick Beverly is a dirty piece of trash. When I heard Curry hurt his ankle in game 1 I figured for sure Beverly got him. If I'm running a league and there is a dude like that, deliberately injuring people, I'd slap em with the lifetime ban.

I don't think it is all that common, I can only think of 3 guys I felt like, for sure, were out there trying to hurt people: John Starks, Bruce Bowen and Patrick Beverly.

Both Livingston and Iggy have gotten into it with Beverly too. Iggy even said afterwards that Beveryly was intentionally kicking at Curry's feet in the first half Sunday trying to intimidate him since he was playing on the bum ankle.

The playoffs just became more competitive and compelling for all of the wrong reasons.

The only thing I hate more than a Suns playoff loss is scum like those 4 mentioned being allowed to play game after game. I feel the rage just thinking about Bowen kicking at Amaré's ankles and Delly throwing himself into the legs of Hawks last year. What is the league doing about this!?

My impression is that it has been better under Silver. He seems serious about increasing the integrity of the league, and I commend him for that.

I'm curious to see what the fine is for the Dallas bench player who cheap-shotted Westbrook on the floor at the end of last night's game. There's a good opportunity to make a statement.

I agree.

Oh yeah, Delly for sure. Make it 4.

I disagree on Horry, that was stupid frustration on his part (which they then profited from). I can't stand the guy but I don't think he wast trying to hurt people.

Yeah, good call Steve, Malone too with his elbows of death. At least he wasn't subtle. Kobe had a couple years when the Lakers sucked where he was trying to knock heads too. But, as much as I don't like Malone or Kobe, I don't consider that as dirty as these guys who are trying to roll up player's knees. That is the kind of trash I'd throw a guy out of the league for.

I always assumed that the Horry check was pure gamesmanship and that he was instructed to do it to test the Suns and the officials/league's resolve. But I don't think he was trying to hurt Nash. I still loathe it though, since I felt it exposed the league's preferential treatment (at this point I usually post about "zero tolerance" for Amare/Diaw while the next year Garnett pushes an official and isn't even ejected from the same game).

Anyway, I hope Golden State can survive until Curry's return. I'd like to see them get a shot at the title after their season.

agree on all of the above.

man, injuries are going to kill what should have been an awesomely entertaining second round matchup between the Clips and Warriors. But at least it gives me hope that the Warriors can beat either the Blazers or Paul-less Clips giving Steph enough time to get healthy for the massive series with the Spurs and Cavs if they make it there. To not get those two series this year would suck for the NBA.

It also shows how to win multiple championships. The Spurs were not always the best team in the league. They were always good enough to compete for a title and take advantage when bad things happened to other teams.

Don't shoot for short windows of absolute domination. Be good enough to be in the mix every year.

This makes it all the worse.

I think Gregg Popovich has evolved over the years to be an even better head coach. I believe this is why the Spurs are continually competitive. He has developed a format or system to keep them winning. Of course it didn't hurt for the Spurs to build a solid foundation with David Robinson and Tim Duncan.

The Clippers curse is alive and well.

This is so weird and unfortunate that the Clippers will be without PG Chris Paul and the Warriors will be without PG Stephen Curry. Teams play all season for the playoffs and it can so easily be jeopardized by an injury.

I have to speak up for my man Norman Powell that kid is balling for Toronto.

Had to fight his way into the regular lineup, wasn't getting big minutes early but I think he's played his way into their future plans. He's really finally improved his 3 point shot.

I said years ago he would wind up a better player than Nick Johnson of Arizona, took years but he's finally made me right. :D

Ouch and now Blake is out for the playoffs too. When it rains, it pours!

Curious to see what happens to that team this offseason.

I'm curious as well. The Clippers have three $20 million plus contracts in Griffin, Paul and Jordon. Redick makes about $7 million and Pierce will make about $3.5 million.

if the Cavs get whooped in the Finals, I wouldn't be surprised to see a Chris Paul for Kyrie Irving swap. Gives the Clippers another young big 3 to continue to build around and let's LeBron think he's gotten the missing piece to his puzzle.

I hadn't thought about it before, but that could make sense for both teams.

Chris Bosh reaffirms desire to play; Heat say he's out indefinitely
Bosh's wife, Adrienne, who is active on social media and in the Miami community, started a #BringBoshBack hashtag on Twitter on Tuesday and retweeted several members of the media discussing how the Heat miss Bosh in their series with the Charlotte Hornets. Bosh himself later posted a video on social media of him shooting in an empty AmericanAirlines Arena with the message "Still got it."

If Bosh is not fully healthy, I agree with the heat on not bring him back.

I'm sure the Heat is doing is what is best for their franchise and what they feel is best for Chris Bosh.

I wouldn't want to bring a player back who is still on blood thinners. Any injury could really be problematic, especially a head injury.
