The Pelicans don't need a PF like Kuzma though, they have Randle, Mirotic, and now Markieff. So while he is a good young player the fit isn't there. With Tatum, and Horford, they can plug those 2 right in and try to retool without needing to trade Holiday right away. I like the Boston offer because it allows them to try to retool and if that fails then they have pieces like Horford and Holiday to trade for assets to go with Tatum and Smart to get their rebuild off the ground.
Horford is 32 and its an old 32. I can't seem him as appealing to the Pelicans.

I know he's old but he's still servicable. He plays really smart and his age shouldn't slow him down all that much. It was said that New Orleans didn't want to start all over with their rebuild and would prefer to retool and I think the Celtics deal allows that more than the Lakers offer. Worst case with Horford is he's traded again by NO to a team for a 1st round pick, maybe 2 of them if they're later in the round and belong to playoff teams.

Pelicans need to accept reality....they think they are in control but it's AD. They let this offer go they might regret it

Good move for the bucks. Playoffs should be really good this year.

I really wish the suns would have traded for him. Again it probably goes back to he would not be willing to sign with us.

It doesn't make any sense for the Pels to trade with the Lakers now. The Lakers' offer will still be there in the off season, along with Boston's.

Are you sure about that? I would argue every day closer to Davis free agency drops the price.

Clippers again have too many players. Can we take advantage? Nah...

How many of these trades were rumored before they went down? It just shows you that if we here rumors, the deal is dead.

What are the clippers doing? Do they even have another center? Are they tanking?

You can't convince me the Clippers don't already know that either Kawai or Durant or both is going to sign with them the way they are dismantling their team.

...and here we go again:

Huh? Why are the lakers doing that, isn't zubac better than Muscala? and both are free agents. I don't get that one unless Zubac is pissed.

So they are saying its to free up a roster spot for a buyout and improve their shooting - probably for that dude we got we are going to cut from Miami I guess who is also a shooter.

Does that mean they are going back to playing Chandler - or can Muscala play center?

sadly staying put might be the only good move the Suns can make

impossible to trade our pick at this point before the draft because nobody knows if Morant who we assume is their #2 target even goes 2nd, 3rd or 4th or even just 5th.

We can only hope that the Suns apparent strategy to bank on cashing in on development once they add a good PG works out. At least NBA history is full of examples where adding a PG to a talented roster can result in dramatic turnarounds -> Kevin Johnson, Jason Kidd, Steve Nash and to a smaller degree the development
