So, is Brad Stevens the best coach in the league, hands down at this point? He has a TON of roster overturn going into the season, lose an All-Star caliber player in Hayward right when the season starts, then loses Kyrie, who was an possible MVP candidate, wins 55 games AND still wins a 1st round series against a more talented Bucks team.

If Hayward and Kyrie are actually healthy next season, with his coaching and just an all around solid club behind them, they could be very, very good next season.

I think he is, and has been for a couple of years now.

The Bucks traded away a 1st round pick for another 1st round playoff exit lol

Saw some people suggesting we try to get Rozier from the Celtics for the Bucks pick. That would complete the Bledsoe trade, doing away with what we received for him. You could say that Rozier's play against Bledsoe would be the reason he's worth trading a 1st round pick for also, so Bledsoe's play helped influence the deal. I'd be for that if it could be done. I'd trade the Bucks pick or the Heat pick this year for him. He's probably better than anyone we could grab at 16 and we'd have a full year before he's a restricted free agent and we need to determine whether to pay him or not. We could see how much is Rozier and how much is Steven's system.

Steven's made IT into an MVP candidate and the Cav's needed to add a 1st round pick to trade him away this year, to a team that wanted expiring deals like his. So I'd like to see how Rozier is before paying him. That's one reason I'm against targeting Marcus Smart in free agency. He'll get a good sized offer and may not be worth close to that without Steven's coaching and the Celtics system.

I think Brad Stevens is so incredible at getting the most out of his players that I'd be very concerned trading for anyone who raised their profile under him. Same with players under Pop, only more so.

The Pacers warm fuzzy story comes to an end tonight. Lebron is Lebron after all.

But this is not a good sign that the pacers are pushing the Cavs to the limit

Right when I turn it on Sabonis goes down. Hopefully it's not serious, he's been a big part of Indy's success this series.
