No way. I'm a huge Penn State fan, but Trace McSorley is not an NFL talent. Not at all. Which is good for Penn State, because he'll stay as long as possible.
I'm kind of with you Stout, being a big PSU fan I'm not sure McSorley is NFL material. The two guys who are is Barkley the RB and Gesicki the TE. Watch number 88 in the McSorley highlights. He can catch and has speed for a TE. Barkley is not only a solid RB who can catch but he also an able blocker.

Barkley, along with Guice, are generational RBs.

Absolutely. Barkley is going to be an NFL stud, and Gesicki will be a solid role player like Jesse James.

I know McSorley struggled early versus Pittsburgh. But, I think he has the "it" factor. A real gamer. Plus, he throws an excellent deep ball. He probably should stay at Penn State, but when it's time to come out, i think he will be drafted pretty high.

I will say that when I was watching the Pitt/PSU game, the announcers mentioned both Barkley and McSorley as Heisman candidates. I was a bit surprise they mentioned McSorley. I agree he should stay at PSU through his senior year. He needs to polish his game more.

No specifically about your post but u cant deny there is a sort of generalization about black college quarterbacks
Because black QB often have the same skill set. They're usually mobile QB's with average to above average arms. Rare do you have simple drop back black QB's. Warren Moon, Doug Williams, Vince Evans, were traditional QB's. Randall Cunningham was the first duel thread QB. His passing game was drop back but he'd run at the drop of a hat. But today's black QB's are almost exclusively running QB's or mobile QB's a la Vick or Wilson. It's just the way it is.

#OU star Baker Mayfield on intermediate throws (11-20 yds downfield) this season: 12-12, 242 yards, 3 TDs.

Norman, Ok.
Says who? Certainly not his team mates!
Kirk Herbstreit said hie is reminiscent of Brett Favre. Mayfield just might be to a certain extent
Where have you been? I've watched or attended every game he's played since he's came to Norman. This guy is Manziel lite. We know he can't outrun Arkansas cops lol. You should know that.

Getting busted in Fayetteville, AR for public drunkenness makes him an arrogant jerk?
He may not make it to the NFL. That's above my pay grade. He does at times seem to have a Favreesque style about him though.

You could have just said most white nfl players are unathletic

To be honest, after hearing about his run in with the law, Johnny Manziel came to my mind but it seems like an isolated incident. Now, if he has another run in with the law then pass. Do you know of any other incidents that maybe haven't been made public?

Not like he won't able to add more to his frame from now until the draft.
He would need to add at least 20-30 lbs. He's super skinny and loves to run, which doesn't bode well in the NFL. Great college qb, but his game doesn't translate well at the next level.

You're hyping the hell out of Jackson. The year RG3 won the Heismam he was a much better passer. Shame his pro career makes people forgot how good his Sr year was.

Jackson is listed at 215 and he's probably 205 tops after reportedly adding 10-15 lbs. RG3 ran a 4.4 flat at 223 lbs. Broke the vertical leap record for QB's and posted a 120" broad jump two years after tearing his ACL.

Converting RPO college QBs is a futile experience. Jackson is RPO.
