2018 NFL Draft QB Stock Watch: Rudolph soaring, Ferguson worth keeping an eye on
The Oklahoma State quarterback has put on amazing aerial shows in the first three weeks of the season.

Hehad 500 yards and 5 tds and was pulled after the FIRST possession of the 3rd quarter. He conceivably could have thrown for 1000 yards in that game, but Gundy is a class act, mullet and all

I would not be surprised to see the cards make a trade for Alex Smith,...then draft a QB in the third or fourth round.

I like Darnold still...he reminds me just a bit of A-Rod in GB...the way he often relies on his arm strength rather than mechanics... coaches will hate it but getting him to change that is going to be tough.
My guess is,...whether or not Darnold declares will have a lot to do with who has the top few picks. Rumor has it he is not enamored with the idea of being drafted by the Jets, who most think will hold the top pick.... but he could always pull an eli and announce before the draft that he wont play for the Jets I guess.

Rosen throws lots of passes that would be picks in the NFL. NFL DB's are just a step faster and jump just a couple inches higher than the average college DB

Been a few years but everyone loved Rodgers mechanics they just didn't like the way he held the ball high as a Tedford ROBO QB so he fell on draft day with so few teams needing a QB.

He throws on the run and off balance often but that's a function of them doing the Seattle thing, before Seattle did and realizing Rodgers is so good they can pay less for OL and build the rest of the roster.

I agree on Josh, he has some real tools but he throws into coverage quite a bit. UCLA doesn't have eliteWr's or an OL so UCLA fans keep saying he'll be better in the pros, I guess we'll see.

I don't hate Rosen, I'd take him in the first round if Darnold were off the board

Dang Ronin...you are so fast on these updates. Thank you for all your effort!

Josh Allen - Is there a pro comparison for a guy like this? Crazy physical traits playing on a bad college team but still translates to the NFL well? He is so hard to evaluate in the current situation.

Well he'd be in the same situation in regards to OL & WRs if ARZ takes him.

He’s way too raw of a passer imo. Good runner though.

Interestingly...Vince Young was also drafted that year at #3. He had a much bigger frame but his game most resembles Lamar Jackson IMO.

Vince Young at Texas:

does he have the support around him?

btw i see him a day 2 prospect
3th round
Nah, but you could say the same about Rosen & Lamar. Josh Allen didn’t impress me much last year, either. Has a big frame & arm, but nowhere near polished.
