I don't believe he is sorry he is just doing this to save face. this is not the first time he has ranted against the USA on a topic. and we know his history with England. Clearly he is the one who has bias here. I know the ref was seen to be poor, but I think a lot of it had to do with the way Colombia played. After the penalty Colombia wanted the ref to decide the game. In the end I think the result was fair.

Next round picks....I'm really struggling with these.

France d Uruguay (no Cavani)

Belgium d Brazil I think somehow Belgium are the most underrated country in this tournament.

Croatia d Russia

Sweden d England (toughest game to pick). I might flip this one before kickoff LOL. I missed the Swiss match because I was driving. What did you guys see in that one?

Pittsburgh, PA--Enemy territory!
I went with:

France over Uruguay
Croatia over Russia
Brazil over Belgium (though I want Belgium)
England over Sweden (though Sweden isn't a bad call--their strength negates England's strength)

Then Croatia beats England and France beats Brazil, with Croatia winning the World Cup.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it...right up until I'm wrong, and then I'll make new predictions :)

haha...yeah. I like waiting until the day before the match so that when things change we can adjust. yellow card accumulation is still on the table for some players who have to be good this weekend. I am sure Neymar will have to mind his diving or he could be booked.

Belgium's defense is a wall.
almost all of these Belgian players are playing for city, united, Chelsea, and spurs....while the Brazilians are equally or more talented but have taken an easier route playing in Spain, Italy or at PSG in Neymar's case

that's a penalty for me on Kompany.

edit: hard to tell though because of the dive

yeah brazil go home! today's man of the match the goal keeper! brazil have all of the talent but Belgium truly have the quality at every position and for me Martinez went overly conservative in the second half but got the result.
