I'm not sure what Grayson Allen did to make Trae Young mad. Trae ended up pushing Grayson Allen on a drive to the basket. Allen sold the push but I don't know.:help:

Grayson Allen has a history of being a bit of a punk so it's not surprising someone decided to push him. He has a very punchable face, IMO. It's pretty stupid of Trae though to allow Allen to bait him into a confrontation like that during a preseason game. I doubt he'll see a suspension but if he does that is a big blow to the Hawks.

Allen is another dirty player in the NBA.

Of all the understatements in all the land, this might be their King.

Since free agency is pretty much over, I had no idea where to put this.

Wow. That's a bad contract. Should help the suns going forward though, although if Ayton doesn't get his act together we may end up with a similar contract.

Rudy Gobert anchors that Jazz team.

Money better spent than on a player like Gordon Hayward.

Suns should offer Ayton 4/100 after next year. Don’t think he’s going to put up enough volume and he’s basically entirely reliant on others to score right now. I don’t think he’s going to play well enough to command the mini max.

It's almost a no-brainer though. When Stern forced agents out of the game the NBA had a semblance of contract sanity for several years. The Max deal was mostly reserved for the absolute best players and every player knew that.

Now, especially since they created the Super Max, anyone that's pretty good (all star, almost an all star, expects to become an all star or knows someone that's an all star) but doesn't qualify for the super-max automatically expects a max or near max deal.

Gobert might not be worth that much but there will be a lot of players in that salary range that have nowhere near the impact he'll have over the life of his deal.

Kyle Kuzma agrees to 3 year, $40 million extension with the Lakers which includes a player option.

That’s a good deal IMO. He still has room to grow. At the same time if Lebron gets tired of him they can ship out on that contract.

It's a good deal for the Lakers when a somewhat similar player, Jerami Grant, signs for 3 years, at $60 million.

Grant is a great defender while Kuzma is more creative and productive on his own when considering offense.

There are differences but they are both good young power forwards. The Lakers got a smoking deal.

Too much good news for Lakers fans. I'm going to have to find a way to encrypt the data. ;)
