You mean our fully vaccinated point guard? He should be back soon because he's fully vaccinated...he is...really!

Chris Paul is in a league mandated quarantine at the moment. Its been reported by multiple outlets that he's vaccinated. He's not going to release a statement to alleviate those who don't believe the reports that say he is.

Matt Barnes said he spoke with Paul and Paul said he's vaccinated. Is that good enough for you?

ESPN's Matt Barnes, appearing on The Jump, said Paul told him Wednesday that he has been vaccinated.

There have been quotes like that in almost every story that's reported he's out right now.

you really think so? Why?

they just killed the 1 seed 4 games straight. I would bet clips will be favored, especially if cp3 misses time.

Suns are big series favorites right now, so you would lose that bet!

Legler is right, ayton taking advantage of the smalls on offense is going to be critical.

wish I had confidence in him being able to do that.

guards have to find him on those deep seals; he is very good near the rim with little hooks and whatnot

It’s going to take a total team effort not just Ayton this series wont come down to 1 player we need our wings to hit those 3s and we’re gonna need some big defense

the Bridges/PG match up is going to be huge. He doesn’t have to stop PG just keep him out of the lane and try and make him a jump shooter.

I don’t expect big numbers on the boards from Ayton there going to go small and make him defend on the perimeter he’s not going to be in the paint on defense, but Ayton is head and shoulders better than Gobert when it comes to defending on the perimeter and on offense.

We are going to need the Lakers Cam Payne with Paul out. He needs to show up big time. Booker, Ayton, Crowder, Bridges everyone needs to play well at this point but I think Payne is the most important he doesn’t need to dominate but he needs to hold it down till CP3 can comeback

Payne is going to feast at the rim if they go small.

No hes not but his presence is known trust me.
Uh, moreso than Rudy who averaged essentially the same ppg as Ayton this year? We saw what they did to Rudy. It’s a legit concern. I think Ayton is more talented offensively than Rudy, but when confronted with smaller players he’s not aggressive and doesn’t typically make them pay. I hope we see otherwise this series. Could hinge on it.

Big man gotta hold on to the ball in this series. You know the Clips are gonna get hands in there and prob get away with it too.

We are not going to be the favorites at all. Especially if Paul is out.

I'm honestly surprised anyone thinks this. We've been given better odds than the Clippers ever since we pulled ahead of the Lakers and the Kawhi situation is far worse than the Paul situation.

We're neck and neck with the Nets right now to win the whole thing, nearly double the odds the Clippers are getting. We are, and should be, heavily favored.

I feel reeeeally good about this series, my biggest concern is that in Morris and, especially, Beverly they have 2 players who are really dirty. Dirty players always scare me in the playoffs.

If it's "critical," the Suns are screwed. But maybe Saric will find his game.

How about Lillard to Philly in exchange for Embiid? Allow Simmons to play the Draymond position, Curry/Green/Harris to space. Elite wing defense around Lillard in Thybulle and Simmons.

Portland gets a top5 player and push Nurkic to the bench as a top-level back-up 5. Not sure if McCollum and/or Simons can be the starting point, but with Embiid you don’t really need an elite perimeter initiator: you just need shooters and a spot of secondary creation.

We're going to need to be poised. I'm looking at you Book. Part of the Clippers' playbook will be to get under Book's skin.

Ayton should get 6+ orebs per game

I think his offensive rebounds go up but his defensive rebounds go down there gonna keep him on the perimeter.

Ayton is head and shoulders better than Golbert and I think we’re going to see that

Agreed.

I think we may want to play more wings this series because of that. Start Johnson instead of Payne. Our defensive glass is going to be susceptible with too many smalls.

I am shocked. Especially with cp3 status being unknown.

I may be overreacting, but to me the clippers played the best basketball of any team I have seen all year in the last two games.

I hate the way millwaukee plays offense. It is painful to watch.

they just make me angry, I am rooting for them but they don’t deserve to win they play so stupidly.
