It's hard to believe Precious Achiuwa fell to the Heat at #20 in the 2020 NBA draft.

He has the body build that is made for an NBA power forward.

Zion was beasting in the 2nd qtr. Ingram went off in the 3rd. It’s a game now.

Josh Jackson looks like a different player. Shooting the three with a nice stroke. Slowed down his game. Maybe that kid turned a corner.
That’s the down side with drafting young and immature players. Always a chance they will break out after you move on.

Of course Josh still needs to prove that he can play like that consistently.

Lonzo seems useless with the emergence of Ingram and a healthy Zion.

So far it looks like Penny Hardaway was right talking up James Wiseman. 19 in his debut, 14 in the first half today including 2 threes that looked like they are not a fluke at all, looked good right out of his hand.

They really struggle to rebound though, the Bucks are drawing Wiseman away from the rim and getting putbacks, they need Draymond for rebounds. Paschall is struggling because they're basically asking him to play the 4, he's guarding Greek Freak. Oubr 0-6 Wiggins 4-13.

You have to give it to Steph he could just be jacking up shots trying to win a scoring title but he's hitting guys over and over on the pick and roll when the double comes to him, for such a great player it's good to see him continue to make "the right play."

Down 10 at the half I think they'll probably lose unless Steph really gets hot.

He was really good in the first game and he was guarding Butler early today and did a nice job on him but yeah the problem is they run so much with Ingram having the ball that Lonzo is just standing around waiting for catch and shoot.

My guy is Joe Harris of the Nets but I certainly wouldn't be disappointed if the Warriors made a deal involving Wiggins that brought Lonzo to the Warriors. he can guard multiple spots, he can let Steph play off and on the ball, would be a nice piece for them now and then if Klay is back next year would be a nice 3rd guard.

Oubre killing The Warriors in the 3rd jacking up 3's, turning the ball over and not guarding his man in transition. terrible

He will probably settle down but this is Oubre. He is an "irrational confidence" guy. He feels like he is a superstar when really he is a bouncy transition player who should be living on hustle and defense. Right now the worst of him is likely coming out because he feels like he needs to prove something... having been dumped twice in a few months.

Probably the best thing for him would be to be dumped to a 6th man role when Green comes back. Although, Wiggins needs to the same treatment. I don't know if an offense can function with 2 terrible shooting black holes like Wiggins and Oubre on the court at the same time.

Losing Klay and having two bullseye shooters really hurts the way GS wants to play. Now, you basically have ONE shooter in the starting lineup and two ISO guys on the wing. Not a good combo.

And neither would be considered great ISO guys either.

I could def see Golden State pulling off a big move. They have a window with Steph and I don’t think he’s going to be happy going into a rebuild

what assets do they have to make a big trade though? I guess if Wisemen really shows out that he could be a centerpiece but if I’m GS and I’m thinking “big trade”, I take a long hard look in the mirror and realize the window has slammed shut and maybe trade Steph for a King’s ransom to totally commit to the rebuild around Wisemen.

I still want to see them with Draymond but my main concern right now is the bench is terrible and the starters aren't good enough. the good Warriors teams would usually win the game in the 3rd quarter.

In recent years they had Draymond initiate the offense and they had Iggy off the bench who could do it too, right now they don't have even one guy let alone two so it has to be Curry.

So far i'm very impressed with Wiseman, 2 games but for a kid who's played 3 games since HS to come into the NBA and go for 19 and 18 in his first 2 games is impressive.

Agreed I don't think anybody is going to give up much for Wiggins I think the league has him figured out, good stats on a bad team not at least so far looking like he fits the Warriors.

Curry if you move him of course the obvious situation is Charlotte because of his dad and I can't see him wanting to go into a total rebuild like that is. Their biggest assets are guys they could have had (Melo) or guys who are good but not remotely going to replace Steph, Devonte Graham, Rozier

If you move Steph to a playoff team maybe makes more sense but I don't see it happening.

To me Warriors trade is not a big one but as I said something like go get Lonzo Ball to help Steph in the backcourt, or as I said before the guy I really want Joe Harris from the Nets and I don't see either move happening.

Steph hasn't shot well in the 2 games even missing some open looks but right now he's just got a huge target on his back teams are just doubling him.

I didn't know what to expect from Wiseman but he's shown enough so far to know this is a guy that would go first in most draft classes. They probably could get quite a haul for him but I think they have to be realistic and realize he's likely to be the centerpiece to their next championship teams rather than using him as trade fodder for a team that's so undefined.

Not that I think this is a good idea but I'm pretty sure that if Houston could find a way to make the money work, they'd be thrilled to get Wiseman for Harden even if all the throw-ins were throwaways. JW has a ways to go but when he takes the court he already acts like he truly believes he's the best player out there. That might be foolhardy at this stage of his game but that mindset along with his physical gifts bodes well for his future.

Nash/Mike/Stat killing it right now. Nets playing like a well-oiled machine.

they look great coming out of the gate.

I’d love to see one more big Finals showdown between LeBron and Durant. Both of their teams are stacked and for once the East has a real beast to go up against the West.

My gosh the Nets are going to be a force league wide.

celtics had a tough game with the Bucks but just got wiped off the floor by the Nets. The Celtics have regressed slightly the last two years.

Draymond mouthing “trash” when Oubre went hero mode was hilarious. The look on Steph’s face was just disgust.

Wiseman would be there only real trade chip. Draymond gots a huge contract and he’s been exposed in recent years. How much longer is Steph going to put up with being blown out by 30 every night

I would love to see anything but Lebron.

I loathe the guy so much I would say suns winning a championship and Lebron not winning are about equal.

Lakers annihilate the Mavericks 138-115. They are going to be very hard to beat this season with so many weapons.

Mavs are so under powered. Luka is great but not enough firepower

According to some, the loss of Porzingis has nothing to do with them losing and looking like crap on offense.

And also according to some, the loss of Porzingis is some sort of proof that Dallas would have beat us had he played. Maybe there is a happy medium. Suns (and Lakers of course) are still better teams than Dallas regardless of who plays. They are the ultimate proof that one guy can't win basketball games by himself.

The Mavs had a historically good offense last year. KP would help them now but its not like KP has a history of winning, in Dallas or on his own.
