Dallas getting Kawhi-less Clippers that appear to be just throwing this one.

Dallas with a 50 point lead at halftime over the Clippers is crazy and Paul George has played 18 minutes.

I watched the first quarter and a half. Clippers had absolutely no effort.

Spencer Dinwiddie with a partially torn ACL. Nets will miss him.

Karl-Anthony Towns reportedly will miss games with a dislocated left wrist. No surgery required.

Daryl Morey was fined $50,000 for a deleted tweet about James Harden.

Maybe Morey should consider tweeting is simply not his thing.

Load management or injury management may be a thing this season.

We seen a ton of guys in the NFL get hurt early on I wouldn’t be surprised if the same happened in the nba with no real camps or offseason prep

oh man... that's a tough loss for them. they're still pretty loaded, but that's a biggie to go down and might throw a wrench into them dealing for Harden.

Due to the shortened season, my concern is that teams resting stars more than usual could impact playoff standings.

The Nets have not been catching any breaks concerning injuries.

Welp, so far Kelly Oubre has been TERRIBLE this season for the Warriors. Like end of the bench terrible.

This is a given and the teams that want to lose will start earlier.

Some opponents will be the beneficiaries and some will be on the losing end of this philosophy.

I'm not sure it evens out when teams intentionally sit players.

he’s really not good. I never saw. What he thinks he is and what he is are two very different things

This is quite true but the Kelly Oubre playing right now is not the pre-injury Kelly Oubre. I don't know if he's trying to do too much or if he just hasn't taken the rust off (hadn't played since February) but something isn't right about him.

We agree about this. A player that has improved five seasons in a row does not suddenly go backwards unless something is wrong.

I was chalking it up to a new system or him trying too hard. His shots are really off target and he can't find a rhythm. He actually has a negative PER. I don't know what to make of it. He is not a player that you expect to make 3-point shots in the corner unless he is in the flow of the game. Oubre thrives off emotion.

but what’s he improved? Was he improving or was he just on bad teams that let him do whatever he wanted.

is he a good shooter? Not really
Is he good defender? Meh
Is he a playmaker? Nope

I think we have seen Bridges and Cam zoom by him in the progress they have made in there careers.

GS whole offense is based off ball movement and finding the open guy, he’s a bad fit for that team.

No need to disparage Oubre. He played well for the Suns.

The Warriors needed a shooting guard who can distribute to take the pressure off Curry so we agree about this part.

His only role in the NBA at this point should be as instant offense off the bench. He doesn't do anything outside of decent scoring at a high level and thus doesn't tend to make much sense as a starter for most teams.
