Watching the Lakers/Kings game and WOW has Alex Len gotten bigger.

Doesn't appear to be helping him because he looks as stiff and slow as a Suns era Joe Kleine.

Also, the Kings and Lakers both look like hot garbage. Our offense is poetic compared to this rubbish.

Our offense is poetic period. This passing is a joy to watch. Unselfishness. BIZ is fitting in seamlessly too.

Anyone watching this Warriors Mavs game? It's a tight one.

Luka is playing well but goes through stretches where he might be the most selfish player I've seen since Kobe. If you're going to play like that you need to also be accountable on defense and Luka isn't. He really leaves his buddies out to dry.

I’m watching. This is the first game I’ve watched in a long time, mostly because it’s dirk’s Jersey retirement. Luka hasn’t played a lot this season because of a moderate knee injury and covid. I think he is an amazing player but he does go through ups and downs. For me the selfish part is his arguing with the refs during the active play of the game. I think at times he takes bad shots, but that’s the nba. As far as his defense and the mavs as a whole…I think they are playing a lot harder on defense than I’ve seen, at least for tonight’s game. I’m sure they have a long way to go. Defense is something that Kidd is emphasizing.

Warriors got whooped tonight by the Mavs.

Gotta play defense to slow down the Warriors and hope they miss some shots.

I think the Suns have been guilty of worrying too much about Curry and not enough about his teammates.

Curry has shot over 50% from the field once in his last 15 games. Real stat.
Dallas played hard tonight, especially on defense. Probably had a little extra in the tank because it was GS and dirks big night. They rebounded the ball very well and played physical. But GS missed a lot of shots that they are capable of making. Curry did not look like himself.

Kyle Lowry gets ejected for tossing ball at official. It took me a long time to see it. Really?

This happened last year too, almost exactly the same way.

If they are calling those I'm amazed it doesn't happen more often.

From the same game:

Reminiscent of the Jokic/Morris play, only this time it is a Miami player doing the shoving from behind. Nurkic seems to bark something at Herro while he is down, probably what set him off more than the screen itself.

That was that refs 1st NBA game, according to accounts I've read on Twitter. It was apparently mentioned during the broadcast a few times before that happened.

I imagine any sort of Techs or fines will be rescinded for Lowry because that is one of the worst ejections I've ever seen.

I thought the call was way out of line too unless there's some kind of specific or implied restrictions on how you can send the ball to an official (by handoff, bounce pass etc.) or if there was context that we're unaware of (anger, swear words, or a little too much steam on the pass). But I watched it multiple times and I didn't get the feeling it was an outburst on Lowry's part. And I rarely find reason to defend Kyle Lowry.

And his last 2 games have been atrocious 3-17 5-24. He's shooting 42% on the season, career average is 47. I think he's pretty worn down having carried the offense last year and this year just over 40% in December 37 from 3.

He's playing through a quad injury now but it doesn't appear to be serious I think he's just exhausted carrying the offense.

I missed most of last night when I tuned in the Mavs were on a 12-0 run taking a 1 point lead to 13 in the 4th and you could see the Warriors were in desperation mode missing 3's hoping to get hot. Wiggins and Payton were the only guys who played well offensively from the box.

It's not really surprising he is shooting below 50%.

Like half his shots are 3's, and a ton of them are flailing throw the ball up as fast as I can 3's.

Heck of a first game for that referee.
