It's too bad Daniel Theis appears headed to the Clippers instead of the Suns.

Phoenix could really use him.

I really like Theis. He's like a more polished version of Eubanks with better range on his shot.

Not a fan of him going to LA. They lost a lot of their frontcourt depth and he'll likely be used alongside either Zubac or Plumlee. They still haven't figured out how to work Harden into their system though and I'm a little surprised by that. Ty Lue is a good coach but will likely be let go if things don't turn around quickly. Not that I want to root for someone to be fired, I feel confident saying they'll be worse without him even if it sparks some regular season wins. Lue is a really good playoff coach though and makes better adjustments than probably any other coach in the league currently.

I think Theis has lost a lot of athleticism but yes fits the bill, high energy, willing to challenge shots, can pop the 3 from time to time. Would be a good third.

For a guy with 4 titles Steve Kerr does some baffling stuff. GP2 steals the inbounds pass but lands on Chet's foot and comes up hobbled. Makes 1 FT goes down the other end gets beat because he can barely walk they score. Back down the other end Warriors miss and OKC scores 2 more points because Payton is hobbled. At one point he is visibly calling for Kerr to get him out but rather than take a timeout he just has Kuminga sitting there waiting. Paul finally throws the ball out of bounds off a OKC player to stop the game so they can get Kuminga in. During that stretch they got outscored 8-2 because GP2 couldn't move.

Pretty much what I thought, Payton sprained left ankle couldn't return to game is probably going to miss a few games from what they said in the post game show.

Kerr has had a great career as a coach and is a great guy but I can't understand what he was thinking last night. It was so obvious GP2 was hurt and he wouldn't just take a timeout to get him off the floor? I would fault the refs too but apparently there's some league mandate against them stopping play unless it's considered a serious injury.

You gotta protect the players.

I can't imagine Kerr has much success once Steph retires. He is a good coach for a certain system that is able to accommodate his style and provide the personnel he needs to achieve success.

He's started showing signs as a coach that he did as a GM here. He's incredibly stubborn and seems to make really questionable calls outside of his specific style or vision.

Hard to say I think the way the season is going just makes the title 2 years ago all the more impressive. That team could easily have gone out much earlier but fought to a title. Steph is amazing but that was a team effort and I give Kerr a ton of credit for pulling that team through.

I just don't get not protecting his player. Not that GP2 got hurt more by staying in, I obviously have no idea if that's true, but there's no logic in leaving him in. he was guarding SGA who kept blowing by him and then passing for an easy shot, so there was no advantage to keep him in. They would have lost anyways but I just can't fathom why he didn't just call timeout to get Gary out.

That stuff really bugs me, protect the players.

I agree, I was watching that game and was wondering why they took so long to get him out. Even if you wanted to save your TO's, just get one of the guys (or Gary himself) to foul someone right after the FT. Seen that happen plenty of times, I don't get it.

yep and the argument a foul hurts the team doesn't hold water because they were scoring everytime down because Payton couldn't move to play defense.

I would love to have a chance to ask that question to Kerr, he's always been a good guy(even if he did to go UA) so I can't fathom what was going through his mind. Payton was asking to come out so it's not like he was saying no leave me in.

I googled it this morning they're saying he won't play Saturday and beyond that is up the air. In typical internet fashion the most common story that came up was when they played Detroit, Payton apparently shook hands with a porn star named "Kendra Lust" in the crowd and the headline says "he knew he was in the presence of the GOAT you can tell by how he's looking at her."

Like when that Only Fans lady in Denver tried to distract Joker!

I haven't watched it but I know I've been frustrated in the past when I've seen something similar. But it usually gets explained away; that a lot of players can play through an ankle injury as long as they push through it and stay active. I always wonder about making it worse but it's not something I know anything about.

I have not verified but saw today, of the last 11 times Draymond got ejected, Steph didn't play in 7 of the games.

So maybe Gobert was right about why Draymond did what he did?

Jordan Poole has an offensive rating of 93 and a defensive rating of 119. Those are "unplayable end of bench guy" splits. The Wizards are horrendous, but only when Poole and Kuzma are on the court... the bench has hugely positive ratios.

Those 2 are the Kobe/Shaq of suck right now. It's wild.

Not sure what the Wizards do... they handed their franchise to two dudes who do not give a flying !#$% about winning.

LeBron and the Lakers are whining to the league about fouls called against him, or lack there of.

As a Suns fan, I have zero sympathy. As a basketball fan, he simply has lost a step and is way too plodding in his movement now that it shows more often than not he initiates contact for foul calls and the league has tried reducing that in recent years. So tough luck, sir.

I like Lebron, but I'm ready for the NBA post Lebron. he is not going to win a title in LA with that squad nor is he going to win a title being the best player anymore. it's actually incredible that he still plays at the level that he does for someone that age.

For all the Wemby hype, Chet is better right now. 35 tonight and just hit a catch and shoot fadeaway 3 at the buzzer to send the game into OT. 1.6 on the clock catch the inbounds going away turn in the air and nailed it. Kid is legit.

And again Kerr's refusal to foul when up 3 late has cost them several games in recent years and will probably cost them again tonight.

At least Wiggins is back.

For the first time since Kerr has been the coach the Warriors had a losing record in a home stand of at least 6 games. 0-6!

Lot of local talk they're going to try and trade Kuminga to shake up the roster. The last 2 games Wiggins has been much better so it actually wouldn't shock me to see them try and deal Kuminga but no idea what they would get now that would solve this

Spurs only won 3 games…2 against the Suns. I guess we Matched up horribly against them.

Apparently, the Suns are the only team in the league that tries to guard Wembanyama with their shortest and/or slowest guys.

They thought he was a bigger version of Ayton. Send a guard at him to keep him out of the paint.

He got paid but you gotta wonder if Monty is regretting not staying in retirement. That’s a gutter team.

He found 2 new guys who were Son in Law material. I know 1 was Ausur Thompson but can't remember the other. He's got daughters who need husbands and he won't give up until he finds their partner.
